I created my practice to meet the need for fully personalized yet evidence-based care. The type of care that not only addresses your pharmaceutical needs but also accounts for your distinct personal history, complex circumstances, and unique personality. Prior to deciding on a pill, It is essential to put you at ease, ensure comfort, trust and profound understanding. We achieve this by allow enough time for human-to-human contact to happen and the therapeutic process to unfold. This way we can identify problems correctly and decide together what is the best treatment choice for you, setting you up for a success from the very start. I offer treatment for a wide variety of psychiatric disorders, including anxiety and panic disorder, mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder, psychotic illness, substance abuse issues, ADHD, OCD, LGBT issues, etc. My goal is to be the type of doctor can hear you out and truly understand you while assessing the problem and providing you with the guidance so you can understand your options and make the best decision for your treatment considering your unique situation and needs. Dr. Starovic is one of the most capable mental healthcare providers I've seen in quite some time. There was an innate warmth to him right from the start, which isn't an easy feat in the age of telehealth. He really understands the combination of medication-based care with talk-based therapy, which is refreshing considering the amount of physicians I've seen that focus solely on one without the other. Doctor is professional yet easy going. It was seamless to use text messaging in order to to confirm the appointment. I came for a follow up and doctor appeared really content that I am getting better. He discussed few further treatment options and asked me which one one would I prefer as a second step. I feel like I am in control. I am not pushed neither told what to do. I can decide what I want. Just along the way there is someone very smart helping me decide and explaining why certain options could be bad or very good for me .
