At Mind Matters Psychiatry LLC, we offer truly individualized care for your psychiatric needs. We listen to your story, understand your struggles, and then, together we develop a treatment plan that is uniquely individual to your needs. We are also happy to include your support system in your care, if you so desire as well as incorporate your religious/ spiritual beliefs if that is important to you. With your permission, we will work closely with your PCP/ therapist to ensure a holistic approach to achieving complete well-being. We offer treatment to adults and teenagers ages 14 and above.

Dr. Opkuh was personable and thorough. She was fantastic and made moving to a new state and switching providers a lot less daunting. The receptionist was really kind and professional. The man (blanking on name unfortunately) who helped me prepare for the appointment and ensure the best outcome was INCREDIBLE. He truly went above and beyond. I'm really happy with my experience. I am so grateful that I found Melissa McCalister, APRN, RN, PMHNP-BC. In short, she is amazing!
The office is very nice, clean, modern, and inviting. The intake process was completed before the appointment, and it was so very helpful to have all of this done beforehand. It was very thorough, and her assistant, Jeff, ensured I understood what to do and that everything was completed correctly and in a timely manner. I was contacted to confirm the appointment. My insurance was verified, and I was told what to expect as a copay at the time of the appointment.
Melissa McCalister, APRN, RN, PMHNP-BC was amazing. She had reviewed all of my intake information and audio recordings. She was patient and kind and made me feel heard and understood. I feel like I finally found a provider that truly take sher time and cares and gives thoughtful responses that are easy to understand. She was nothing short of amazing.
