Mind Over Matter Psychiatry
Accepting New Patients. Appointments are available within 7 days. I offer Medication Management and Counseling/Psychotherapy via telemedicine and in office visits. As a dual board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner, I care for the community by balancing rational, emotional and spiritual well-being. By using a holistic approach I provide my patients with the tools to overcome psychiatric symptoms and stressors. I am described as genuine, compassionate, and empathetic. My patient’s happiness, safety and entire well-being are of the utmost importance to me.
I work with adolescents, adults and the geriatric population afflicted with different mental health conditions to develop personalized treatment plans to achieve patient specific optimal goals. I conduct psychiatric evaluations focusing on an individualized treatment plans. I specialize in ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Depression and Insomnia.
I practice using evidence-based guidelines to deliver the best psychiatric care to my patients to enhance their mental and psychosocial well-being. I speak Portuguese and Spanish. Mrs Goulart is extremely kind and considerate. She listened without judgement and made me feel like my concerns were heard and valid. She gave me suggestions for coping mechanisms and was very helpful. I can’t wait for our future sessions. I would recommend reading her Zocdoc bio and make sure that what she specializes in is something that you need help with or else the session might not be as helpful.
