She never saw me because I gave her an 1 star rating she dropped me that is not how you treat patients she should not be allowed on here to take on new patients if she treats them that way because of that.

Zocdoc is funny: If you were seen less than 30m of an appointment, that's 4 stars. Look, that may be the case for any type of doctor other than therapy but if it's a therapist, 30 minutes late is a BIG deal. This therapist was 20 minutes late, minimum. Because she was dealing with a household issue. That gave me some red flags. But then the entire reason why I saw her became a moot point. Nothing was done. No help was given. I had no anti-depressants. I have treatment resistant depression and had run out of my medication. I was desperate. This doctor never followed up on the prior auth (PA) that she swore up and down she knew how to do and could take care of fast. Never happened. First issue was that the form she used to submit my rx had her fax number wrong. Just...what? Downhill from there. I never got my meds. Thanks for absolutely nothing.

Usually all for black female healthcare providers. But this particular experience was disappointing. Did not process my insurance information in advance although I provided the details. Due to that, she did not bother to communicate further making us miss my first appointment. After I corrected her on the mishap, she rescheduled for the next day in which I thought the session went well. We scheduled a follow-up for 2 weeks later. 2 weeks later, I heard nothing from her. No appointment reminders, anything. The day of our follow-up appointment, she sent no link. I texted her afterwards to address it. Can you believe this lady did not know who I was? She asked for my name, I gave it to her and she responded a WEEK later saying we had no appointment except for the initial one that we rescheduled. My disappointment in being prescribed meds I didn’t want to take and then being ghosted and forgotten by the provider is high. I suffer severe mental health issues and she only enhanced it.

Nurse Practitioner Cassandra Fortune was kind, open, interested, a great listener, made me feel better immediately. She understood what I needed, was sympathetic, and we will stay in touch.
Friendly and easy to talk to. Was about 5 minutes late to our first session together so not a great first impression in regards to that. Overall though it was a pleasant experience and I will continue to work with her.
