Great to meet you! I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from UC Berkeley, graduating Cum Laude. I then went on to complete my Medical Training at Sackler School of Medicine and my Residency at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. I am actively involved in academia and research. I have published multiple papers on suicide and mood disorders, in collaboration with Columbia University. I have also presented at the American Psychiatric Association, as well as at conferences internationally. I look forward to working with you to learn about your mental health goals and help you reach them.

She literally did not even know what insurances business took. I was very straightforward and I have very serious catastrophic injuries and medical conditions. She was clueless as to how her own practice worked. Chronically ill patients and psychiatrists who are uninformed and unprepared for appointments are some of the worst doctors ever. These people want to be paid and they don’t do their job jobs. It doesn’t make sense and she was pathetic. The service I received was pathetic and nothing was resolved. She passed judgments on my medication without even reviewing my medical records — LITERALLY NOT ONE PIECE OF PAPER lol a joke! Doctors like her making blind decisions for patients in critical conditions is beyond unprofessional and I’m tired of it.

Overall pretty disappointed with my experience with Dr. Rabbany.
Initially my appointment time came, and she called to inform me of some add'l paperwork that I need to fill out via their website. Once I completed that, she said that she'd give me a call.
On their site, I filled out the paperwork and sent a message via the secure portal saying that I reviewed the documents and was ready to call. She said that she'd call me in 15 min. After about 25 minutes, there was no word from her, so I texted checking in on our call. After a few minutes, she called me and the call was extremely rushed. She interrupted many times while I was speaking and was in a hurry to end the call. Her attitude was cold and I felt like I wasn't heard at all.

Sometimes she showed up for appointments in bed, or sometimes, in a car without earbuds while a man driving on the side. I feel hurt and my symptoms get worse by just talking to her. All the other negative reviews are true. Read them before you make appointments

This was my first Zocdoc experience, and it wasn't great, but I wasn't sure what to expect. Her bedside manner was very odd. She joined while walking around her house getting water, etc. She actually took the laptop with her. I wouldn't do that if I were in a meeting. I saw her whole kitchen. She was very, very direct in the way she spoke to me, which usually doesn't bother me, but I was sharing sensitive information, and I felt like she just wanted to get me off the video. She also referred me to other therapists even though I said I loved mine. IDK, it was just weird.

This was honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a a doctor and their office. I was clearly told before booking that they accepted my insurance. That was not true. I only found out after the fact, which already felt like a bait and switch
Then, the office sent me broken links for paperwork, so the whole process was muddled from the start. I never felt like I actually understood what I was signing or agreeing to, like it was confusing on purpose to get money.
I was told I’d be charged a HUGE amount! When I tried to cancel because of the insurance issue (that THEY got wrong), they STILL charged me LOTS, from a no reply email with no opportunity to speak to anyone but an AI. I received zero services. No visit, no consultation, nothing. Just a charge. No flexibility or effort to fix it from staff
It honestly felt like I was misled just to get me in the door and then charged anyway. Really unprofessional and frustrating experience. I would not recommend this Dr/office at all

Dr Raggany took my call on a Saturday; she was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to listen to me and then she addressed each one of my concerns. If you want a psychiatrist who will commit fully to your mental health journey, Dr. Rabbany is the one. We knew this about her on first meeting. However, don’t expect her to “phone it in” or be a pushover — we needed someone that would be there and be real and transparent, and take on our complex and unique needs. She will give it to you straight and say and do what’s right and best for your situation — even if you may be reluctant to hear it at first. I feel we are finally making progress. So glad we found her!

At first I thought she would be a great provider. It was just unfortunate because when someone says “I’m sending the prescription now” while you’re having an anxiety attack but then doesn’t send it and says it will be sent later in the day when the clinics close. But then reassures you again she will send it early but still doesn’t send it and next thing you know you’re at the pharmacy waiting for something that was never sent. Just don’t appreciate being told a medication will be sent 2 times and not sent at all.
