Mirando Chiropractic Center has been serving the Washington DC area since 1984. We are a family owned practice. We specialize in traditional chiropractic care and we do coordinate care with other doctors. Mirando Chiropractic values their abilities to treat patients like family instead of patient file numbers. The doctor prides himself in making sure all the patients have access to him 24 hours a day. Mirando Chiropractic's philosophy is that we are always there for our patients day or night.

Dr. Mirando is excellent. He's a great listener, very thoughtful and prioritizes data and monitoring to track the progress of treatment. His office manager is lovely, very kind and helpful. It's the first chiropractic practice I've ever tried and I'm happy to say it's a good one.

Dr. Mirando and his staff (particularly Carolina!) are all incredible. You'll be hard-pressed to find a more caring and knowledgeable practice. It was my first time at a chiropractor and I wasn't sure what to expect. From the moment I walked in, they made me feel comfortable. He took his time to x-ray me and explain the science behind the injury and treatment. In the end, he helped me heal from a bad bruised rib in a couple short months. They offer other services (such as massages) which I also highly recommend. I will continue to visit and refer others!

I was so impressed with my treatment at Mirando Chiropractic that I referred my entire family to be patients at his office.
His staff has been very helpful with all my services even to get the out of network benefits. They were kind enough to bill for me to cover the out-of-pocket expenses.
This is a small office that makes you feel like they care. After my first visit the doctor called me to see if I had any questions and to make sure I was doing well. He gave me advice to help the adjustment work better and guided me in some changes I can make at my work place.
If someone is looking for a no non-sense, practical approach to chiropractic care, this is likely the office for you. I will continue to recommend this office.

Chiropractor Dr. Schamis is highly recommended for his competence and attention to patient care. His chiropractic approach and technique is gentle stretching and massaging the muscle tension and tightness to release while simultaneously adjusting the affected areas. The consistent chiropractic care visits have improved my mobility, strength, and energy levels. I can always feel the muscle blockages removed, while experiencing better blood flow and mental clarity after the spinal manipulation. Thank you!
