I needed a psychiatrist to give me an evaluation for a court judgement however, the doctor that I saw wants to make an additional appointment to make a more complete conclusion.
Overall, I thought Dr. U (as she preferred to be called) is a good psychiatrist. She asks pertinent questions that seem to apply to the situation and does not try to be a someone who controls your response.

I’ve had a few psychiatrists over the past 11 years and Dr. Uyanwune is the absolute best, bar none. 1000/10 would recommend. Her main selling point is her individualized plus a dedication and preciseness to ensure that we can achieve ?the best possible results. I’ve never had ANY Doc be so invested in my health, and I’ve seen A LOT of doctors over the years.
In addition to going above and beyond for her patients, she’s prompt, friendly, communicative, has a great office staff, incredibly detailed orientated, and more.

I have seen a few psychiatrists in the past, and my experience with Dr. U was the best I have ever experienced. Dr. U made me feel very comfortable. She was took her time, was thourough, is experienced, articulate, intelligent, and I really felt I could open up to her and feel heard. Dr. U also recommended treatment options that no other psychiatrist has ever recommended. I feel like I was and am truly supported and in good hands for the first time. I am very grateful to have found Dr. U and highly recommend her.

she addressed all my concerns and was very easy to talk to. I've heard many stories of psychiatrists being cold because 'their job is to prescribe you medicine not listen to your problems' but I didn't feel that with her at all. would totally recommend if this is your first psychiatrist or if you're nervous.
