The mission of Modern Dermatology of Maryland is to provide high quality, comprehensive, physician-led dermatology care to Annapolis and its surrounding areas. We utilize the most up-to-date technology to offer personalized care for our patients. We aim to provide care that is compassionate and dedicated to the integrity of the physician-patient relationship. This locally owned practice provides medical, pediatric, surgical and cosmetic dermatology services performed by board certified dermatologists. Modern Dermatology is a traditional patient-centered practice where patients feel heard and not rushed through their visit, which is unfortunately commonplace in other large dermatology practices. Modern Dermatology of Maryland operates in the most ethical fashion, defending the ideals of integrity and equity. We aim to increase access to real dermatologists for patients of all backgrounds and ethnicities by providing exceptional care to all patients. We provide a personalized and comprehensive approach that offers patients full access to the most cutting edge treatments to achieve their skin treatment goals. It has never been more important to entrust your regular dermatology screenings and skin care to practices that are locally owned and operated by board-certified dermatologists. Large private-equity backed corporations have corporatized the practice of dermatology, putting patient care secondary to profits and the bottom line. Please only choose a board-certified dermatologist to ensure you receive the highest level of care. We look forward to seeing you in our brand new, state-of-the-art office. Our practice takes most commercial, state, and federal insurance plans. The self-pay fee is $150.00 for new patients.

I had a great visit with PA Consoli. She listened to me, gave me helpful advice and information, and very personable. They have cosmetic procedures available to me which I'm a little hesitant and nervous about but she was understanding and showed empathy so I may decide to let her do it.

I could not have been more pleased with the experience. First, the staff at the reception desk were both pleasant, friendly, and helpful. Moreover, I am not sure I have ever interacted with a medical assistant who maintained such a positive, friendly, AND professional demeanor - prior to, during, and following the exam. Likewise, my provider was equally and incredibly friendly yet professional throughout the exam and necessary procedures. Wait- I actually AM sure that in my 74 years-despite having had rewarding relationships with a few unique and special providers, that from start to finish, this was indeed the most positive medical appointment I can recall. The one, and only downside to future visits is knowing the medical assistant will be leaving to enter medical school later this year. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to ongoing positive experiences when returning for care provided by Samantha Consoli. Today’s visit truly was a very pleasant surprise!

PA-C Consoli was EXCELLENT (as well as the front desk attendant and assistant)! They were all personable and accommodating. PA-C Consoli was prompt, efficient, and highly competent. This was my first visit with Modern Dermatology of Maryland, and I intend to keep them as my preferred Dermatologist practice.
