Dr. Lisa M Jukes is a board certified gynecologist who graduated from UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas in 1996. She spent several years at a multi-physician practice before opening her own practice, now known as Modern Women’s Health, in 2004.
The team at Modern Women’s Health focuses on gynecological services with an emphasis on patients’ overall health and well-being. They see patients of all ages and in all life stages. The practice offers a full range of services to address all of a patient’s gynecological and preventative wellness needs.

The staff is judgmental and unwilling to help: The nurses here always rush through my appointment and never take time to hear questions / concerns. I have gone 3 years with a problem and upon one visit to a different gynocologist, was finally properly treated. Separately, this office spends a lot of time advertising aesthetic treatments they offer (lypo, etc.) which I did not appreciate as I only go to this doctor for check-ups. Overall, I strongly recommend going elsewhere, especially if you are going to a gynocologist for the first time.

Kelli Porter asked me all the right questions that other doctors have not. I now realize how much I minimize my own suffering and my issues have gone unnoticed for years. Kelli gently worked through that to get to the answers she needed to provide me with a proper evaluation.
I had no idea just how bad things were and how much I've suffered needlessly. I now have a treatment plan, and can start living the life I deserve.

Very average experience, felt a bit rushed. During my annual visit, the physical exam was completed but the provider did not ask if I had any concerns or topics I wanted to discuss. She seemed rushed to get out of the room.

Staff and medical assistant were very kind. I was brought in promptly at my appointment time and did not have to wait. Provider had a cold bedside manner, and spoke in a very judgmental tone about my medical history. I have already sought out another provider.

The provider was excellent and I will definitely go back to her, but the booking experience was a nightmare. I booked at the Bee Cave location for 9:30am, and received email and text confirmation. I arrived at 9am only to be told that my provider and appointment was actually at the Westlake location. The Bee Cave office staff said there was enough time to make 9:30am and that they would call the office to explain. I arrived at the Westlake location at 9:30 and the front office had no idea what I was talking about. Then the provider apologized for running behind - they had issues that morning too. I told her it wasn't a big deal as I had just arrived.
Lesson learned: call the office to make the appointment and call to confirm.

I showed up early to the appt. which was good since zocdoc didn't actually notify my dr. of my appt. The office still got me on the schedule for that same time and everything was great.

I highly recommend this office and doctor. From the start, they were very helpful. They sent me an email before the appointment with a registration form, details about the appointment, and what I should expect to pay after insurance. In office, I had a wonderful experience. I was nervous as many people are for doctor appointments, but I was welcomed and felt comfortable by everyone. They are clearly well ran, and care about the comfort of their customers. Dr Jukes is very personable, informational, and kind. I drove 30 mins out of my way for this office and I’m so glad I did. The amazing reviews are well deserved.

I called ahead to make sure that they had the birth control shot that I wanted- in which they said yes. I arrived 45 mins before my appointment to fill out paper work only to be called back 30 mins after my appointment time. Then I waited 25 mins for someone to come in to talk to me. After talking to the doctor she wanted to do blood work and a well woman (both that I had done 4 months ago which they knew because I sent them my records) I was willing to do the well women but waited for another 30 minutes before I heard the doctor talking from outside the door that they in fact did NOT have the shot that i had came for in the first place. At that point I put my clothes back on and walked out. But not without the receptionist trying to make me pay for WASTING MY TIME. (She said “we’ll send you the bill!”) They gave/did nothing to me in the 2 and 1/2 hours I was there. I’m not paying them a single cent and will not be back.

The provider I saw was very kind and seemed knowledgable. I would recommend her individually but not the practice as a whole.
I called them after booking the appointment to verify the appt and tell them that I wanted to be seen for HRT because I am between PCP's and am almost out of my RX. They did not tell me that the practice policy is that they don't manage HRT unless the patient is up to date on the preventative care required by the practice. This includes mammograms or breast MRI's, but not breast sonograms. I did get my annual exam, but would have booked my appointment elsewhere if I had known that they won't accept breast ultrasounds for preventative care. Also, I would have booked the appointment at a later date after getting the preventative care to save time.

The offices were easy to find. The staff was professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and kind. My appointment started on time. My favorite parts were that the appointment was easy to book, the office sent the first time visit paper work ahead of time so I could fill it out before arriving, and they were able to see me quickly! (I scheduled Saturday and went 3 days later on Tuesday).
