My practice focuses on helping adults improve their sleep, emotional well-being, and daily functioning through evidence-based, culturally responsive care. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), the gold-standard treatment for chronic insomnia. Many of my clients come to me after months or years of struggling with difficulty falling asleep, frequent awakenings, racing thoughts at night, or feeling exhausted no matter how much they rest. CBT-I is a short-term, highly effective approach that helps retrain both the mind and the body for deeper, more restorative sleep—often within 6–8 weeks. In addition to sleep, I treat anxiety, trauma, stress, and mood-related concerns that commonly disrupt a person’s ability to feel grounded and well. My approach combines CBT, mindfulness-based strategies, and trauma-informed care. I work collaboratively, providing structure, clarity, and tools you can apply in everyday life. As a Colombian Latina therapist, I also recognize the importance of cultural and family dynamics, identity, and past experiences in shaping mental health. I aim to create a warm and supportive environment where clients feel understood and empowered. My goal is to help you feel more rested, regulated, and confident in navigating life’s challenges.
