Mosaic Brain Kintsugi Neuropsychology & Therapy

Mosaic Brain Kintsugi specializes in psychotherapy and comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological testing for children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. Philosophy At Mosaic Brain, we celebrate each person’s lived experience and honor the richness of diverse backgrounds, brain styles, learning identities, and cultures. We all come from somewhere, and that shared journey unites us at the level of our common humanity. Dr. Malinowska completed her neuropsychology training at the Rush Neurobehavioral Clinic, a specialized neuropsychological site, and at the Wegierek Psychology Center, a private neuropsychological practice focused on evaluating individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI), dementia, learning, and memory concerns. During her training, she was supervised by a board-certified neuropsychologist. She has experience in the evaluation of children with complex medical histories, adults with ADHD, AuDHD (co-occurring autism and ADHD), executive functioning difficulties in children and adults, and individuals with trauma histories. Dr. Malinowska also conducted neuropsychological assessments in hospital settings as needed. She has experience conducting neuropsychological assessments in Polish for children under the age of five. Dr. Malinowska conducts assessments to differentiate between diagnoses, including evaluations of gifted and neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan. She is also trained in the assessment of high-masking autism and is skilled at identifying nuanced neurodevelopmental profiles. Dr. Malinowska provides individual psychotherapy for clients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. Her therapeutic approach is holistic and culturally sensitive, informed by her immigrant background, personal experience with cultural adjustment, and extensive life experience. She emphasizes the brain-body connection in understanding and addressing psychological concerns. Through active listening and validation, Dr. Malinowska seeks to understand the origins of behavior and is committed to empathy-based, client-centered care for individuals and families across state lines. Her practice integrates evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), ACT and IFS, play therapy and sand tray trauma-informed care, and neurodevelopmental frameworks, with a focus on supporting neurodevelopmental conditions, executive functioning difficulties, and trauma histories. Dr. Malinowska prioritizes collaboration, respect for neurodiversity, and fostering resilience in her clinical work.

Dr. Malinowska was very thorough with her questioning. She was an amazing listener and made me feel very comfortable and seen. I was very nervous but within seconds of speaking to her I felt welcomed.
