Dr kanzer has been the kindest most patient doctor I have ever come across. He is empathetic as well as puts your well being first before invasive treatments. He has built a trust in me that many doctors have failed to do.

He is a interventional pain management specialist but can or will mot give pain medication he puts all his patients in the same category and even though he says he knows I need the medication that I am not a candidate for a pain pump or stimulator he would not help me cause I was put in a box with all the rest of his patients believe me if I could use it them and her off the medication I would I tried when I took myself off I had a serve heart attack and stroke I asked him to ween me off safely but he refused it give me anything or help me in anyway has to compassion or empathy he took a oath to do no harm but not helping me is harming me in I think of him my cop will not give me another rx snd he would not help me I have protein energy, malnutrition, and do not feel like everybody else therefore, having any kind of foreign object installed into my spine or stomach i am not a good candidate for it would only ha?rm me further

Dr Kanzer is awesome! He is friendly and professional, and immediately came up with a plan to help my pain. He was full of new ideas and suggestions about things we can try to help me out. He is also very helpful when it comes to things that cover all bases such as X-rays, physical therapy and acupuncture. I totally believe that he will be the one to work with me to figure out the root of the problem! He is a great doctor and I would totally recommend him to anyone! Thanks Dr Kanzer!

Dr. Brown is a great listener. He heard my concerns and offered immediate solutions. I went in for headaches I’ve had for 3 years and he gave me a treatment on the spot and ordered follow up X-rays . His assistant was also very attentive and helpful. The front office staff was friendly and checked me in right away. Short wait time was a plus!!
I definitely recommend Dr. Darryl Brown for pain management treatment.

Dr. Brown listen to my concerns, gave me options to treatment. When I told him that I wasn’t comfortable with a suggestion treatment, he had a back up plan.. He made sure I understood everything and made sure that I was included in all that was suggested. He called the next day to check in.. Great doctor looking forward to working with him…

Visit with Dr. Brown was really great. I felt he listened, asked good questions, and was an empathetic provider. Would happily see him again!
Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for any of the other staff in his office (Mt. Sinai affiliated). I wasn’t aware that I would require pre-authorization in order to get the prescription Dr. Brown prescribed covered. I’ve tried calling Dr. Brown’s office multiple times. Spending over 2 hours on hold total throughout the day. I can’t reach anyone to help resolve this issue. It’s very frustrating as I can’t afford the medicine without pre-approval. I tried reaching out on the Mt. Sinai app so fingers crossed I get a response with that.
Overall I would say Dr. Brown seems like an excellent, empathetic provider and I’d recommend him. However, if there are any hiccups or administrative hoops to jump through pre or post appointment that you can foresee, you’re probably in for a rough ride and should look elsewhere.
