Dr. Nance is a concierge hand surgeon who offers the highest quality service and attention to our patients. All patients see only Dr. Nance, no PAs, residents, fellows, just Dr. Nance's full attention. We value QUALITY over QUANTITY of patients.
Dr. Nance spends her appointments looking at the patient, not at a computer screen clicking away, and takes the time to listen to your whole story. She then physically examines you to make sure you are given a thorough examination. She takes significant time to explain your diagnosis, educate you on your options, and answer all questions you may have.
Patients are seen on time and for however long is needed for a complete examination. Patients never feel rushed.
In order to provide this level of service, we only accept out of network benefits or self-pay patients. WE DO NOT ACCEPT IN-NETWORK PAYMENTS.
Once a patient has met their out of network deductible we accept the reimbursement from your insurance company. Every patient's insurance is different and we go to great lengths to explain all the upfront fees, there is never any surprise billing.
Most patients do not know if they have out of network benefits. You may have phenomenal benefits with little to no difference between fees of in-network versus out-of network. Before you book, please call our office and our staff will do all that research for you so you understand the fees involved.

My experience at Doctor Nance's office was excellent overall. I was seen quickly, my x-rays were done efficiently, and Dr. Nance was patient, listened to my concerns, and explained everything very clearly. My only concern was that the office was listed as In-Network by ZocDoc, but I was informed at the office that this was incorrect. We were able to figure out the issue together, but it might be a good idea to contact the office prior to your visit to see if it is In-network rather than assuming ZocDoc's information is correct.

1st appointment for a second opinion. Dr. Nance was great. Listened, was super nice, patient and didn't rush me (despite my long list of symptoms and concerns), didn't dismiss my concerns or seem the least bit annoyed with me like other Doctors who want you in and out faster than a trip to McDonalds. She performed a fairly detailed checkup on me and, recommended next steps. Rest of the staff was pleasant as while. I wish more Doctors would try to have a bedside manner as good as Dr. Nance's. Very glad I found this doctor.
Hands down one of the most pleasant experiences I've had at a Dr. in a long while.

This was my first visit to Dr. Nance for a cyst on my wrist that has been bothering me for the past year and a half. The offices are beautiful and clean, located directly across the street from Central Park and just a block away from the NQ station. I had an 8am appointment and was seen right away after completing the intake paperwork. Everyone from the receptionist to the assistant to the XRay tech was extremely warm and friendly. Dr. Nance does a great job of making you feel comfortable, taking the time to fully understand the reasons behind your visit. She fully explains the diagnosis and treatment options in a way that is easily understood. I would definitely recommend Dr. Nance to my family and friends.

This is an all-round perfect place. The receptionist, Megan, is smart and competent. The gentleman nurse is pleasant and professional. Dr. Nance is so nice—and thorough! She explains your problem in detail so you know what's going on—makes you feel better. Most important, her advice worked to ease the pain in my knee. Just a super great doctor!
