Dealing with this office is exhausting. Whenever I have an appointment, no matter how early I go in, I wait an hour, minimum! Getting in contact with Dr. Kogan or trying to get a call back is exhausting. I had an MRI to check on some severe symptoms and weeks went by without getting my results. Then months. I was thankfully able to manage my symptoms without any information, follow up, or diagnosis from the doctor. Then months later, still no follow up. During the quarantine I have received emails from ALL of my providers except Dr. Kogan’s office, and still no follow up about my MRI results from February, as my symptoms worsen again. This week I was able to schedule a virtual appointment. The office called me 15 minutes prior to my appointment time to make sure I paid my co-pay over the phone. 20 minutes after my appointment was supposed to begin, I called the office to check the status and was told they would reach out to an office manager. As I write this, it has been 35 minutes since my appointment should’ve started and I haven’t gotten a call from the doctor, or anyone else. At this point I don’t even know what to do or say anymore. I just want all of my records and to never have to deal with this office again.

My overall experience was excellent and quick. Anna was pleasantly courteous and had a can do attitude about solving my problems. The staff was also welcoming and pleasant. The office was modern and located in a awesome place in Clinton Hill. Two thumbs up!

As soon as I walked in, the front desk nurses both had attitudes.. like serious attitudes. She grabbed my ID and insurance card out my hand (not being dramatic). And she gave me major attitude because she couldn't find my name in the system the first time she looked.
Long story short, I wouldn't recommend this office unless you have the patience to deal with this kind of attitude and wait.

She did seem to care about me and my symptoms when I told her and ordered some tests based on that. I feel like other Drs sometimes don't believe you or think your exaggerating, etc. Front desk staff was very busy, but helpful and nice. Technicians, I saw 2, were also good. One came to help when I had a pan I attack. My issue was that my appointment was for 10:45am and I wasn't seen until 1:30pm. Completely unacceptable... According to the staff, the Dr books 2-3 patients per slot, which makes sense why it would get so backed up there. You can't just assume someone's not gonna show up. I'm guessing that's why there's multiple ppl per slot. It was so bad that chairs (including mine), were backed up to the reception desk-makes no sense considering ppl need to go up there to check in and there's only one section of the desk open... And then there were no chairs left and someone was standing in front of the door and they asked him to move! He says-where do want me to stand, on top of that coffee table? Ridiculous. I would not go back till they fix this problem

Dr. Kogan was great and I would recommend her. However the check in process was frustrating and receptionists were not polite or helpful. Also, there is frequently a strong odor and very bright fluorescent lights in the waiting room, both of which are triggers or exacerbate migraines.

Knowledgable friendly staff! The wait time was not too long and felt comfortable throughout my visit. Dr. Kogan was also very efficient and proactive.

Very knowledgeable, very quick (sometimes to quick and feels rushed. I waited for over 2 hours after my appointment time, to only get a 5 minute visit. The appointment felt rushed, and was odd, because I had been waiting on the patient before me for 45 minutes.

Anna was lovely, very professional and made me feel like she was really listening to me. The rest of the technicians were lovely as well.
Unfortunately, I waited over two hours to be seen by her. The front desk staff was rude, clearly very unhappy to be there, and kept telling people "it won't be much longer", and then joking to each other that they will be definitely waiting a long time. It felt like it was 100 degrees in that waiting room.

Dr. Kogan was very thorough and kind. I felt well listened to and I’m optimistic we have a good game plan for fixing my problem! The front desk, however, has a sour attitude and is very unfriendly. I also had a lot of issues with them over the phone before my appointment. I don’t know why they’re so miserable.

I had high hopes when I booked my appointment with Dr. Kogan due to her high ratings and location (not to far from where I work). I arrived 5 minutes early for my appointment at 7:55 AM. No one was at the front desk and a patient had to let me in. At about 8:00 AM I was asked to fill out 6 lengthy forms. By 8:10 AM I was finished. I sat in the waiting room from 8:10 AM until 8:40 AM. A woman came in after me and was seen and left. At 8:40 AM I was seen by an assistant who completed intake by asking me some of the same questions that I responded to on the form (waste of time). I was asked my weight and height when there was a scale in the room. When I complained, I was told by the assistant that several people were scheduled for 8:00 AM. Around 8:50 I was seen by Dr. Kogan who spent about 10 minutes with me. She was pleasant. Even though I told her I was running late for work (because of the inefficiency of her office) I was then sent to another room for a test that I had no idea that I would be taking the same day. I was then asked to go to yet another room for another test but I had to leave. When I came back to the front desk, they had no clue what was going on and told me that the doctor was going on vacation (not sure what this had to do with me as I was sure that I would not return for another appointment). I made an 8:00 AM appointment with the expectation of going to work afterwards and drove to the office so that I would arrive on time. I had to pay for parking at work to accommodate the appointment. This office needs many improvements in its process and communication with patients including what is to be expected during a typical visit. Not everyone has unlimited time and people have to make sacrifices to make it to a visit on time. The staff should take this into consideration when dealing with patients. In search of yet another neurologist...

The front desk staff was pretty bad. I wasn’t greeted when I arrived and I had to find the forms myself on the counter. I was assisted after going up to the desk a couple of times, but there was no clear system. Dr. Kogan was very caring and attentive

Dr. Kogan was very thorough and patient. She was very informed about my condition. I did find the lobby to be a very difficult place for someone with a migraine condition, as the lights were extremely bright (even for a doctor’s office) and the phones are a beeh high volume. But as for Dr Kogan I would recommend her.

I have had pain in my gums alternating from side to side for 9 months. After searching online for conditions with my symptoms for a long time, I finally came upon Atypical Odontalgya and It said a Neurologist should be seen. I. Went to Zocdoc and found Dr.Kogan. After reading many positive reviews about Dr.Kogan, I decided to book an appointment. I have visited a few other specialists and none gave me an answer or solution to my condition. The moment I explained my symptoms Dr.Kogan had the answer I was looking for. She stated that I may have Atypical Adontalgya. She immediately sent me for different medical exams. Dr. Kogan listens carefully and is caring. I felt very comfortable with her. The staff is courteous and the place is clean. I know I found the doctor who will help my pain go away. I totally recommend Dr.Kogan. You will not be disappointed!
