When I developed a very serious brain bleed Dr. Zusman was part of the Neurosurgical team that came to my rescue. Dr. Zusman has two great strengths – her skills and her compassion. Her outstanding skills resolved this condition and her compassion allayed my family's concerns and gave us hope. I subsequently followed in Dr. Zusman's footsteps and became a physician. Out of the countless doctors that I have known and interacted with she is by far the best. Dr. Zusman is that very rare combination of kindness, empathy, assertiveness and capability that results in superior outcomes for patients and their families. My family and I are eternally grateful to her.

Dr. Zusman is simply amazing. I am so grateful to have found her before undergoing spine surgery. Prior to meeting with Dr. Z I was anxious and frightened about having spine surgery even though I knew it was necessary. Dr. Zusman took the time to explain in a clear and comforting manner the cause of my neurological symptoms, and the pros and cons of various treatment options. She helped me find the best surgeon for my specific neurological issue, and she helped me to "prehab" -- prepare physically, mentally and emotionally for my spine surgery, as well as rehab after surgery.
