***Dr. Suresh does not participate in any insurance plans as he is an out-of-network provider. The fee for a psychiatric consultation (60 min) is $400. Follow-up sessions (30-45 min) are $200-300. Please expect an email, text or phone call after booking so we can make sure that the practice is a good fit for your needs. Dr. Vinod Suresh is a board-certified psychiatrist. He provides patient-centered, humanistic care, and is able to treat a variety of psychiatric conditions with evidence-based knowledge and methods. Dr. Suresh has experience in working with healthcare and financial industry professionals, students (college, graduate, law and medical), LGBT clients, and survivors of sexual abuse and military combat trauma. Dr. Suresh received his training as a resident at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center (now part of Mt. Sinai Hospital), in New York City. There, Dr. Suresh attained specialized knowledge in addiction psychiatry, personality disorders, and psychodynamic psychotherapy. He went on to provide psychiatric care in an office, hospital, and at elder care facilities in Bergen County. Dr. Suresh also treated the nation's veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). A native Floridian, with a medical degree from Florida State University, Dr. Suresh is licensed in New York, New Jersey, and multiple other states.

Wonderful experience! I have been on the look for a psychiatrist and am extremely pleased to have come across Zocdoc. Dr. Suresh is an understanding, compassionate, and understanding doctor who made my search all worthwhile, I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone! I have my follow-up scheduled, started a treatment plan, and have found new profound hope for bettering my mental health and ADHD. He was very accommodating with a remote-session and was on -time. The session was natural and did not feel rushed at all. He was very detailed in the questions he asked and was very attentive; which overall, made the remote-video call much more personable. An exceptional physician for anyone wanting to better their mental health!!
