Disclaimer: I have suffered psychological trauma based on my crippling fear of dentistry for years.
I am completely transformed and it’s down to Dr. Adam Hershkin and his amazing team.
His style of thorough, open, clear communication, his attention to patient care, his ability to set your mind at ease with a thoughtful explanation of the treatment process, supported by a wonderful team from reception thru the clinical staff in a beautiful, clean, modern practice in midtown sets him apart from any other medical professional in my experience and I would highly recommend him.

this dentist doesn’t actually have these listed specialties apparently. i traveled from a different state after confirming the appointment twice over text. as i was walking into the office they called me and told me he doesn’t actually work on TMJ. they had multiple times they could have communicated this and didn’t, and i’m out $170 of amtrak tickets and a half day of work off. if you see this provider i recommend calling not booking on zocdoc since the information here is inaccurate.

Spent 1.5hr on the train only to learn from the doorman that there is no one in the building during weekends, no one including the doctor. Extremely rude and disrespectful towards people.

Dr. Hershkin is incredible! There’s just no other way to put it. He’s knowledgeable and showed empathy during my consultation with him. He has a sense of humor too which helped alleviate some of my nervousness and concerns. I didn’t wait long to be seen; the location is convenient for me, and my insurance is accepted at the practice.

I came for a wisdom tooth extraction consultation and everything was good. Dr was very nice and friendly and made me feel at ease, as much as I could considering I’m planning for a surgery. My tooth was in pain... I wanted it pulled. The office staff went out of their way to accommodate me. I didn't know what to expect . I was numbed up. (If I had to do it over I think I would have preferred to be knocked out.). But the Dr and staff were great. No surprises.

I had two of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr Hershkin and had the best experience ! I was really nervous but he made me feel comfortable and confident in the surgery. The surgery was really fast and the healing process was seamless, I had no problems at all. All of the staff at his office were extremely kind and helpful too. Cant recommend them enough !! Dr H is an expert oral surgeon who instantly made me feel at ease and confidently took on the removal of my high risk wisdom tooth that two other oral surgeons had declined to deal with. The procedure went well and he clearly demonstrated he had the necessary skills and experience to avoid the complications I was so worried about. He is also a very warm, friendly person and really cares about his patients - got a text from him the evening after surgery checking up on how I was doing. I also liked the general atmosphere of the office - very helpful, friendly staff, and ample Covid protection measures (masks, plexiglass barriers, hand sanitizers, temperature checks). Highly recommended!

Dr. Hershkin and the staff in the office were all very nice. They have good measures in place for COVID-19 and explained the procedure and my pricing options very well. I was beyond comfortable for my consultation and 4 wisdom teeth extractions. I have a post op appointment scheduled but the doctor already checked in after hours to see how I was doing. This is a wonderful office and I highly recommend them!

This is the fastest tooth extraction I had ever! I didn’t expect to be 5min in total to take two wisdom teeth. I thought it would be longer. No pain, no struggle. No problem on my wisdom teeth anymore. So happy! Dr. Hershkin is a very confident doctor, he told me details about the whole process and potential risks. It sounds solid and makes me feel less nervous. The nurses in the office are pretty nice. Thanks for her support hand, I hold her hand for the whole process, it did give me much relief.
