I went for a yearly physical. It took over an hour and a half about to be seen. I’m walked back to the exam room by Dr. Goldsten, who barely verbally acknowledged me walking to the exam room or in it. She sits me down in a chair, right? A chair in the corner of the room—and that’s bc the examination table was littered *with tons of other patients’ private medical records.* So I start to get worried in addition to annoyed. She then points me to a home scale that you can buy at target and says to weigh myself (with shoes too? But it’s a home scale so who cares, I guess!).
She asks what meds I’m on and then it takes her about 40 mins to: type with one finger my meds but never finishing, bc she proceeded to take a phone call, lest the room for a bit; she comes back, & she starts watching YouTube?Her hands are shaky and I notice; I don’t see any nurses—she was do I go in my head, “oh she is not putting a needle in me.”
I left then and said I had to get to work.
I don’t have a job.

I sat waiting for an hour and a half with no word from the staff. The doctor took me into the exam room, left the door wide open, and was blasting music so I could barely hear her. She had me sit on a dirty stool because the exam table was covered in someone else's medical records strewn all over. The room was very dirty and the counter tops were covered in dirty iodine bottles. She sat on her computer for about 10 minutes without saying anything to me- all she asked was whether or not I had asthma. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a medical space before. I had to lie and say I had an emergency because I did not feel safe having my physical or bloodwork done there.

Dr. Salvatore was an excellent doctor including his team( front desk too). To me , first impression is everything. The visit was great ??. From the beginning all the way to the end . Got there super early and he was already there and got me in. I thank God for answering my prayers . Dr. Salvatore’s bed side manner and professionalism reminded me of my childhood doctor when I was 11 years old . An Awesome one ! Dr. Salvatore took his time , and answered all my questions and explain the diagnose . Nowadays, not all doctors take their time to explain to you conditions or do thoroughly checking . I am so happy to have him as my primary care physician .

The doctor was great but the front desk should really inform you of things before your appointment so you can prepare…
1) It was cash only which I was not told prior to the appointment and I had to leave to get cash.
2) Even though they send you a link to a portal, you can only get your results in person… which I was also not told until the second time I called for an update on my blood work.
So while the doctor was great, their system is very inconvenient.

Did some blood test as part of an annual checkup - impossible to get the results either by phone or email. It’s been six weeks and waiting. Very disorganised practice. Don’t bother filling out the online form they will give you a new one in person. Impossible to reach them.
