NextGen Oncology
NextGen Oncology provides cancer patients access to next generation and cutting-edge Cancer treatments. Dr Sankhala, being a Medical oncologist who has additional training in clinical research which enables him for understanding of the cancer at molecular and genetic level and design personalized and precision treatments.
With additional fellowship in Advanced Drug Development Fellowship in Oncology and Clinical Research, Dr Sankhala is better equipped in taking care of cancer patients not only with the conventional treatments but also with next generation molecularly targeted therapies and immunotherapies. The molecularly or genetically targeted therapies are specific to the individual patient’s tumor biology. The current approach of generalizing the treatment for specific tumor types for all the patients without taking into account of their individual genomics and pharmacology is not a very scientific approach.
Dr Sankhala is a cancer doctor for not only newly diagnosed cancer patients, but those patients whose cancer has progressed through all the conventional treatments. With his expert and additional knowledge in clinical research, he figures out innovative treatments of your cancer with conventional and new drugs which are still not yet commercially available.
Dr Sankhala is frequently consulted for second opinions to assist in the management of complex oncology patients nationally and internationally. He has been an author of many research papers and has published very widely in many reputed journals and has been a speaker at several oncology societies.
