Northeast Medical Practice
Dr. Berger is board certified in both internal medicine and obesity medicine. At Northeast Medical Practice, Dr. Berger and his staff aim to provide patients with a holistic form of care that prevents chronic disease before it starts and optimizes a patient’s external appearance as well. In traditional healthcare, the patient is subjected to brief visits with a physician who does not have time to listen to the patient and truly hear their concerns. At NEMP, we strive to provide a health care experience like that of the family doctor of years ago who had time and authentically cared for his patients. Dr. Berger provides longer patient visits, allowing him to uncover the root cause of disease. We also use cutting edge aesthetic treatments to optimize our patients’ appearances. By combining these approaches Dr. Berger strives to not only achieve a longer lifespan for his patients, but also increase “healthspan” – a significant period of maximal quality of life.

Dr Berger was thorough and professional. He obviously cares for his patients and providing high quality care. Irina was friendly, courteous, and kind. Highly recommend. Sad that they are no longer providing Sunday appointments as this was a big factor due to my schedule.

Great office - concierge quality service from Irina who called me to confirm and then upon arrival Dr. Gerber was thorough and attentive. Also love that they offer weekend appointments because it’s so hard to get off work during the week. Would 1000 percent recommend - I didn’t know when I booked the appointment but in addition to being an internist/PCP they also specialize in medically supervised weight loss and have state of the art equipment to assist with same.

Very thorough doctor. I had a high heart rate and a viral infection. Dr Berger went through every test to rule out any major issues. Everything was discussed and explained. Very clean office and you feel very well taken care of

I had a great visit at Dr. Berger's office. I was looking for a new, local GP that I could feel comfortable with as I transition into middle age. Dr. Berger fulfilled my expectations. The office was clean and neat. After I filled out the new patient forms I waited about 3 minutes before the desk-assistant led me back to the examination room. Dr. Berger came in a minute later and introduced himself and began the exam. I was impressed by his thoroughness. Dr. Berger dived deep into my family and personal medical history. His bedside manner is calm(almost soft-spoken), confident, and professional. His movements were measured and steady during the physical examination. I presented a multitude of questions/ideas and he patiently and clearly answered/addressed all of them. I never felt rushed at all. He even brought me a mask at the end because his next patient in the waiting room had a cold; I thought that was very professional. I'll be coming back to Dr. Berger for my future medical needs.
