Dr. Whelan was so thorough and I could tell he really cared about me and fixing my issue. He was stern but caring and very honest and clearly had a lot of experience in his field. I feel confident about my treatment plan going forward. His staff was really sweet too and the office was very very clean which I appreciated (especially since he’s a colorectal surgeon).

He was knowledgeable and informative. Helped me quickly. Only mildly negative feedback would be that it would be great if he spoke a little more slowly as he was a bit rushed. I asked my clarifying questions and he was more than happy to answer them.

Incredible doctor, incredible staff. I felt like he really listened to me, and did not judge me for being nervous and googling my symptoms. By the end we had a game plan and I felt so relieved. On top of that all of the nurses and NPs, and desk staff were so so kind. The wait was tough but well worth it for a doctor that listens and cares, and a staff that is patient and lovely!

Dr. Pihokken really put me at ease with his approach to evaluation, assessment, and care advice. He was methodical, calm, and reassuring, especially when dealing with the sensitive subjects his specialty manages. In fact, many specialty surgeons are abrupt in their communication and personality; Dr. Pihokken, on the other hand, is thorough and pleasant.
For icing on the cake, N.P. Jenny (whose last name I didn't catch) was equally kind and caring, and I feel very comfortable working with her in my care plan as well.
Overall, it was a good experience, and I actually look forward to starting my care plan with him.

Everyone including Dr. Agnew was incredibly kind and understanding. These types of visits are uncomfortable and awkward for patients and the team does a nice job of making people feel as comfortable as possible. Very grateful to have found Dr. Agnew :)

Dr. Agnew is extremely sweet, attentive and efficient. This can sometimes be a stressful situation due to the nature of the specialty but she speaks to you during the process so you’re a little distracted from what’s going on. A welcomed distraction. I highly recommend her.

When I was told I had to have a colorectal consult I was not excited. No one would ever describe having to go to the doctors to get your butt looked at as pleasant. But I’d say this as close to pleasant as possible with lovely and comforting staff, a clean and private environment, and quick and efficient service. Would highly recommend for anyone to have their issues addressed with professionalism and warmth.
