Please find my full review on the common review sites. First off I want to mention, I found Dr. Kim to be knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. However, I was not informed beforehand that the visit included a mandatory hearing test with an audiologist. They also didn't accept ZocDoc forms. Furthermore, when I stated to the audiologist that I had trouble breathing with the mask on in the tiny audio booth, she gaslighted me by stating the air was all the same in the office. I disagree with this, I was literally out of breath after exiting the booth. A little kindness and understanding by the audiologist would have gone a long way. When I later mentioned this to the receptionist, she at first apologized for this experience, but went on to make the same statement that the air is the same everywhere in the office, once again gaslighting me, which was not only unnecessary, but also plain bad customer service. Again, a bit of humility and understanding go a long way in these situations.

I was fairly unhappy with the appointment. He didn’t examine me at all and essentially just told me I didn’t have the issue I had been diagnosed with over 10 years ago. Essentially I was told that I should just maintain what I had been doing with the medication I had been prescribed over 10 years ago, even though he didn’t think the diagnosis was accurate. I left more depressed about my prognosis than when I went in. I definitely won’t be returning and this particular appointment felt like a waste of an hour of my time and a waste of an above average copay.

It was very disappointing to wait over an hour to see doctor Kim. I understand there are times when doctors get backed up, but I received an (I'm sure automated) message asking me to arrive 15 minutes early, which I did. Why not give patients a call or text when you know you are that far behind? Otherwise, my time with the doctor was great. He wasn't rushed and was very pleasant to work with and did apologize twice for my wait.

I came to Dr. Kim with a balance disorder no other doctor I saw (and I saw many) knew anything about and am now cured. I would return to Dr. Kim in a heartbeat if the condition ever returned. He was truly a miracle doctor for me.

He was real good in explaining that most people in their 70's will experience Tenninitis. That I told him that I will see how it goes to the end of the year and also I told him how often and when it gets real loud. I understood that I have to live with it and I'm ok with that.
