Got to see doc interact with patient in waiting room in the most kind, caring way. Soon I realized That must be reserved for established patients. If I go back maybe I’ll get that treatment. I think maybe a certain demographic is not welcome there. All the staff and the doc have an air of better than the rest of us as they speak to you. When I say my stomach hurts I mean the area under my chest and above my groin. I don’t need an hour long lesson on where the actual stomach is lol. Treat and fix it please. The restroom had two other patients pee in it waiting to be tested while they all tended to their waist length hair at the front desk. This hair was everywhere in the hall floor and in the exam room. Maybe the practice is for EMEA patients or LATAM. Not sure. I have the best insurance and was so very nice and kind to them. Like out of my way nice and kind hoping to tap into why they became nurses and docs. No go. Luckily I was seen quickly and they have a good patient portal healow

The doctor was really professional, but the receptionist was the worst people I saw not helpful and really rude . I even mentioned it to the doctor.

Dr. Makkiya was WONDERFUL. I’ve been trying to find a GYN that would really listen and help me improve my quality of life, not just my lab values and she took time to really listen to me and gave me options for all my concerns. I’ve moved a lot so she is my 4th GYN and by far my favorite already. I’m so grateful I’ve found her.

Appointment went super smooth, the only thing was that I had to complete some DNA testing in the lobby which I did not like ( Just a little awkward to spit in a tube). But the doctor and medical assistant were super nice, and walked me through everything! I definitely would recommend especially if this is your first annual exam.

Dr. Makkiya and her team were warm, knowledgeable and accommodating. This was the first OBGYN appointment I’ve had where I felt heard and validated. I wish I could have her as a PCP as well! Truly a refreshing experience!!

I did not enjoy my experience with this Dr. I came in with questions about fibroids and requesting a mammogram as my mother had breast cancer. I found the doctor to be dismissive of my concerns and I had to ask multiple times how I could schedule a sonogram and mammogram to check on these two very important issues. As a black woman, I understand that these medical conditions are quite prevalent and I’d appreciate more care and concern from my doctor. I will not be returning.

Nurse was very friendly, got me back quickly for vitals and prep. Wait time was very little. Doctor was very friendly, thorough and made me feel comfortable discussing things that were awkward for me to talk about. She identified my main concerns with a plan to move forward, as well as other options we can look at if needed. I felt listened to, understood, and cared for.

I enjoyed my first visit with Dr. Makkiya. She listened (using active listening posture of leaning in) as I discussed my medical history and current symptoms. For the first time in a while, I felt heard, which put my mind at ease. I have a myriad of menopausal symptoms and she addressed each one. My visit with Dr. Makkiya went above and beyond my expectations.

Very good with a wonderful professional like D. Aliaa. She was the best Oby-Gyn that I had ever seen in the last 5 years . Really good doctor in all aspects.
A minor aspect : the address to reach the facility wasn’t clear. The number was wrong .

Dr. Makkiya is by far the best GYN I have ever experienced, very professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Makkiya was very patient with me and answered all my questions. I was concerned about replacing my Mirena IUD, but when I tell you she did an amazing job she went above and beyond from ordering process to insertion. I will definitely return to her clinic hands down.
