Meeting with the doctor was fine. But he told me he’d call to follow up once he got my new bloodwork back. I received the results but didn’t get a phone call from the doctor. I left two messages with the office following up, but neither call was returned. It made me wonder why I bothered to book with a nephrologist at all if my bloodwork ended up having to be explained to me by my PCP.
If you have a medical problem (i.e. kidney) Book this doc ASAP. He is great and thorough, which I do not get with many doctors. I was impressed with his ability to zero in on my problem immediately. I will continue to see this doctor as along as possible. Felt better about my health situation after first visit.

I would not recommend this doctor. I felt judged by her for coming in with my symptoms. She seemed to think it was stupid I was even there.
I saw Dr. Madhavi Katikaneni for a consult and was very impressed with the amount of time she spent getting my history and other details. She was very thorough and a great communicator! Everyone on her staff was friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone needing the services of a Nephrologist! You will not be disappointed! I have already made a follow-up appointment with her.
