Nurturing Lactation Care
Nurturing Lactation Care, LLC provides expert, compassionate lactation support to breastfeeding families throughout Middle Georgia, with offices in Macon and Sandersville. Led by International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs), our practice specializes in resolving complex feeding challenges, including breast and bottle refusal, tongue tie, low milk supply, and flange fitting for pumping parents.
We take a whole-dyad approach to care, looking closely at the body mechanics and positioning of both parent and baby to identify and address the root causes of feeding difficulties — not just the symptoms. Whether you're navigating a rocky start with breastfeeding, troubleshooting a supply issue, or preparing to return to work and need a comfortable pumping fit, our team is here to help you reach your feeding goals with personalized, evidence-based care.
We offer in-office consultations in Middle Georgia and telehealth consultations nationwide, and accept a range of insurance plans in addition to self-pay options.

I had the good fortune of being introduced to Leia through my pediatrician’s office, and I cannot recommend her enough. She’s has been such a calming and helpful presence and support throughout my postpartum and breastfeeding journey. Her recommendations have always worked really well for me and she has a wealth of knowledge that she loves to share. When my baby suddenly started refusing a bottle, I was able to get in touch with her over a holiday weekend and she was at my place the following week! And with her guidance and help we have also managed to solve the bottle refusal to a great extent. Over all, she is the best out there. Definitely see her for all your lactation needs and concerns!!
