NuvMed is a physician-led center specializing in comprehensive, evidence-based care for joint, spine, nerve, and headache conditions, with a focus on identifying and treating the underlying causes of pain rather than simply masking symptoms. Our approach emphasizes non-opioid and opioid-sparing treatments, including image-guided injections and nerve blocks, neuromodulation, regenerative therapies when appropriate, physical rehabilitation and movement-based care, headache interventions, and individualized medication management. Please note that NuvMed does not take over or continue long-term opioid therapy initiated by another provider, and opioid medications are not initiated during the initial visits as a routine treatment for chronic pain. Our initial visits are focused on a comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and development of a personalized treatment plan centered on non-opioid medications, minimally invasive procedures, rehabilitation, and other evidence-based interventions. If the primary reason you are seeking a pain-management appointment is to obtain, continue, or transfer opioid prescriptions from another provider, we kindly ask that you do not schedule an appointment with NuvMed for that purpose, as our practice model is specifically designed around opioid-sparing and interventional approaches to pain management.
