I recently switched to Dr. Loflin from using Tend as my primary dentist and it’s been a wonderful experience so far. His dental office team is very welcoming, and his suite overlooks the Central Park. Dr. Loflin is extremely attentive, friendly and open and took extra time to address my dental history concerns. I can’t recommend him enough, especially if you’ve had mixed experiences with dentists in the past.

Prior to my appointment I hadn’t been to the dentist in 5 years. No one made me feel guilty or recommend unnecessary dental work. The dental hygienist was very skilled and gentil with my sensitive gums. Overall great experience.

Dr. Loflin was fantastic! Very empathetic, friendly, and the cleaning was pain-free. He explained everything thoroughly and I appreciated his emphasis on not jumping into procedures that aren’t necessary. I’ve seen a number of dentists since my time living in NYC, and thus far Dr. Loflin has been the best!

I think this was the loveliest dentist appointment I have EVER had, and that is counting appointments both in the U.S and overseas. I have never had any issue with my teeth, but, in recent years, I have encountered dishonest dentists who, on the first visit, said I had a number of cavities just so they could make a quick buck. Know that I have consistently seen the same dentist over the long term until their retirement and always received a clean bill of dental health. The truth is, I have never had any cavities, but when I’ve tried to establish a relationship with a new dentist, the greedy ones try to find some way they can make money. Apparently, saying that cavities exist when they don’t is a reliable way to achieve this goal. What kind of dentist is willing to drill into perfectly healthy teeth? Anyway, Dr. Loflin was superb, honest, personable, and friendly in every way. His staff was lovely as well, and I am thrilled to have finally found a new dentist! A great find!

Dr. Loflin and his staff were INCREDIBLE! I've had really bad dentist experiences in the past and was very hesitant to go but they were all lovely. The questionnaire they asked me what some negative dental office experiences were and just asking that showed how invested they were in making this a comfy experience for me. They talked me through everything and let me have breaks when I needed them too! The best part is they give me a nice to go goodie bag after my first visit! I think I've found my forever dentist lol

I was seeking a new dentist since my insurance changed. I’m very glad I found this dentist. Yesterday was my first visit and it went amazing. The front staff was friendly, the dentist assistant friendly, the doctor himself Dr. Loflin was great. I went for a clean up the Doctor assistant (Alma, not sure if I’m spelling it right) made sure I was feeling comfortable throughout the entire process. Dr. Loflin explained very well the condition of my teeth/gums. Dr. Loflin even showed me an example with pictures to give me a better understanding. Alma answered all my questions and made sure I left with nothing unanswered. If you need a dentist that listens to your concerns, is friendly, does a good job search no further! What a great team??.

I’m not a fan of going to the dentist. People rarely are. That being said - my visit was a smooth and pleasant experience.

Had a great experience here for my bi-annual cleaning! Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and they make you feel like you are getting top notch care, which I really appreciated.
I also liked that they have a big TV to show you X-Rays and scans in real-time and a nice view of Central Park that you can look at while you're in the chair. Hadn't seen either of those at a Dental office before that's for sure.
Would recommend to anyone and I'll definitely be back!

I was very pleased with every aspect of my visit with Dr. Loflin. The online scheduling of my appointment went smoothly followed by online completion of new patient forms. The entire staff from the billing person to the dental hygienist to Dr. Loflin were friendly and demonstrated great care in performing their specific tasks. I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Loflin. I have a mild case of dental phobia and have searched a number of years for a gentle competent dentist. Dr. Loflin is all of that and more. He patiently answered all of my questions while reviewing my x-rays with me and discussing the work I needed. I was especially impressed with how tuned in he was to any discomfort I felt while he worked on my teeth. He was quick to stop and ask how I was doing and make any adjustment that would be helpful. This was a great first visit. I plan to return to Dr. Loflin for all my dental care and highly recommend him to anyone in search of a gentle, highly competent dentist.
