Dr. Wisnoski is an Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of depression, anxiety, OCD, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, sleep disorders, and a number of other psychiatric conditions. Dr. Wisnoski provides treatment options including medication management and/or psychotherapeutic approaches, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, supportive therapy, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. Dr. Wisnoski's goal is to help people gain control over their lives and to optimize their potential in a variety of areas, including work performance, interpersonal relationships, sleep hygiene, and overall health.
New patients receive a comprehensive initial evaluation typically 60 - 90 minutes with follow-up appointments 30 minutes. He attended Brown University for his undergraduate education, medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch, and completed a dual internal medicine and psychiatry residency program at Duke University Hospital.
**Dr. Wisnoski requires an initial, brief phone consultation prior to the initial appointment. After you request an available appointment time on ZocDoc, Dr. Wisnoski will contact you to arrange a phone call to answer any questions and to confirm your appointment.
**Dr. Wisnoski is an out-of-network provider, meaning he does not accept insurance. He does provide an invoice to patients with a description of services obtained. This can be submitted to insurance company by the patient for reimbursement.

Dr Wisnoski is a truly skilled psychiatrist with an amazing capacity to convey empathy. He provides helpful tools and coping strategies that actually work.
