Led by Dr. Catalin Marinescu, MD, FACOG, a board-certified OB-GYN with over 24 years of experience our practice offers unique personalized high quality obstetrics, gynecology and infertility solutions.
Dr Marinescu's unique expertise includes over 4,000 high and low risk management of pregnancies with deliveries and recognitions as Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology & Surgeon of Excellence in Robotic Surgery using the advanced da Vinci robotic technology.
We specialize in high-low risk pregnancy, infertility, endometriosis, fibroids of any size through minimally invasive surgery, alongside routine services like Nexplanon and Mirena IUD insertions, annual well-woman exams, urogynecology and cosmetogynecology .
Fluent in English, Spanish, and Romanian and with Mandarin capabilities, we embrace diverse cultures to ensure every patient feels understood and supported.
We accept all major PPOs: United, Anthem, Blue Shield, Aetna, and Cigna (no Medicaid/CalOptima, no HMOs except Hoag Affiliated groups).
To ensure access for all, we charge a $50 fee for no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours.

My husband and I went to see Dr. Catalin Marinescu for our first trimester appointment, and we had such a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which immediately put us at ease.
Dr. Marinescu was kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all of our questions and made sure we felt comfortable throughout the entire visit. He truly made the experience of seeing our baby for the first time so special and memorable.
We’re so happy we chose this office and highly recommend Dr. Catalin Marinescu to anyone looking for an OB-GYN who genuinely cares.

I was hesitant to see a doctor I’d never met before for some personal issues, but I couldn’t get into my regular gynecologist for two months. I’m so glad I made the appointment! He was able to see me the same day (or the very next), there was no wait time, and he had an excellent bedside manner. He listened, resolved the issue within 10 minutes, and I left with a prescription in hand feeling so relieved and grateful. Highly recommend!

I had a very disappointing experience here. I came in requesting an ultrasound to check my ovaries and lining while trying to conceive naturally — a very standard approach to monitor follicle growth and lining for better timing. Instead of support or clear guidance, I was met with dismissive questions and told an ultrasound “won’t give you an answer” and to just use ovulation tests at home. The doctor even remarked that since I’d done 3 IVF cycles and plan another, he was “curious how I’d get pregnant spontaneously this month.”
I left feeling judged, disrespected, and without the help I came for. Fertility care is emotional and patients deserve compassion, not condescension.

I went to this dr for my annual obgyn visit
I asked him a question and he said he can’t say anything unless he sees a sonogram
Which makes sense but then he charged me for two visits and when I asked why
The answer was because I asked a question even though the question wasn’t answered, the issue wasn’t addressed and I never move forward with sonogram presentation
I wish I didn’t waste my annual obgyn visit with this dr

I had a lot of traumatizing experiences that interrupted my healthcare while I was with Kaiser. I was looking for a competent gynecologist. I really liked my first visit with Dr. Marinescu and decided to go ahead with a procedure I’ve been needing to do. I am feeling more hopeful and able to continue with my care since he seems very skilled and forward thinking about his patients’ comfort and results.

I waited over an hour just to be seen by the doctor. Once he finally came in and saw me, it felt very rushed. I didn’t even get to ask any of my questions that were concerning me because he just left. He ordered tests but didn’t listen to me or my concerns which makes me feel like I wasted my time going to the doctor. Plus, waiting over an hour and 10 minutes just to be seen was too much

Competent but fair/poor bedside manner and I left feeling a little embarrassed and defeated with my purpose coming to see him and questions I asked, which should not be the experience you have for and gynecological medical team. Labs came back a few days later and I received a notification with a note to take a few medications sent to my pharmacy but no call or explanation as to why I should take them, any alternatives, or a description of the diagnosis.
