Dr. Haghighi, popularly referred to as Dr. “H” attended John’s Hopkins University where he was awarded his Master’s degree in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics. While studying, he worked as a Biologist at NIH (National Institutes of Health). Shortly after graduation, he attended the University of Maryland, College of Dentistry where he was awarded his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Dr. H. was accepted in an Oral Surgery Clerkship at UMB where he received extensive training.
Dr. H. has continued his professional education after graduation from Dental School and has received advanced training in Aesthetic veneers, TMJ issues, full mouth reconstruction “Dawson Academy”, and sleep apnea “Vivos”.

Well, I had my cavities filled a few days ago. The procedure went GREAT!. I must say I was a nervous wreck. But I knew I was in good hands with Dr. Haghighi. He was so gentle at times I did not even he was working on my tooth. He uses the tooth colored kind, not that silver-mercury stuff. I can't even tell my tooth has a filling.
I am looking forward to my 6 month check up!

My dental appointment was awesome!
I love that the tools were opened in front of me. I know all was cleaned just for me. The xrays were right on the computer in the room, so cool. Dr. H pointed out what I was looking at. Only 2 cavities, small ones at that. But he caught them. I go back in a few weeks for the fillings. Great Dentist and the techs he has are so nice. Go see Dr. H and you will agree.

I went for dental annual cleaning. They did usual X-ray for a new patient and told me all the cavities I have. They also added on extra floride gel. I came home satisfied only to find out my teeth were not cleaned and still had black spots on their inner side which could have been removed.
They also need to put stuff in mouth to do dental X-Ray which is not cleaned properly and without disposable cover which raised my hygiene concerns.

Overall the Dentist was very good, he was great in giving advice and providing a through cleaning. However,the Dental Hygienist was not very gentle and took an excess amount of Xrays. I also feel that I got overcharged after the appointment (with bills of expenses after a general cleaning - the bill looked excessive as well).

I thought it was a little weird how many X-rays they took but id rather the doctor be thorough so that's okay. The hygienist and Doctor were both very nice. Dr. H was fantastic. I went in for a cleaning and to get cavities filled.
Prior to my appointment, I was terrified of the dentist. With my previous, family dentist, cleanings and fillings (with novocain) were painful. It was a completely different experience with Dr. H. The cleaning was quick, easy, and painless and the fillings were done with care and were also painless.
If you are afraid of the dentist like I was, I highly suggest making an appointment with Dr H.

MUCH too rough on gums and teeth. Wouldnt ease up even when he knew I was in pain. Made it seem like it was MY fault it was hurting. Also he barely cleaned my teeth! Lazy and unprofessional. Do NOT go to this dentist!!!!!!!!!!! WASTE of time and money

I love him he is very polite. He listens to his patients and makes the best recommendation. He has a very caring and professional practice I felt welcome the very first day of my appointment. As a patient with limited health insurance the doctor didn’t hesitant when I ask him for a discount rate. It a crucial necessary procedures to accomplish I couldn’t afford he really help me. I was concerned to hear about the number of new cavitites, but he took his time to explain and show using mulitple images why he made those diagnoses. When I returned for the fillings, he showed me the actual cavitites. Maybe gross to some, but fasinating to me. He took the time to educate me and again to show me where the problem was. He did an excellent job filling the cavities. Minimum pain. Highly recommended, no question.
