Are you feeling more anxious, exhausted, or “not like myself” during the periods of high stress, life transitions, peri- menopause, or postpartum changes? Many high-functioning individuals struggle with sleep disruption, depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD symptoms, burnout or medication side effects that don’t improve with standard approaches. I help adult patients to regain their emotional balance, mental clarity, and physical stability through personalized psychiatric care. My work is especially helpful for those navigating complex medication regimens, hormonal transitions, or the overlap between medical and psychological symptoms. As a double board-certified psychiatrist in General Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine, I take an integrated approach looking at mind and body, rather than treating symptoms in isolation. I provide psychotherapy with or without medication, and work with individuals and couples. I have extensive experience helping patients who feel “stuck” in treatment, whether due to a partial response, side effects, or unclear diagnoses. I previously served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where I taught and supervised psychiatrists in training. I offer in-person psychotherapy in New York City, and telehealth services across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
