At Onyx Health, we believe primary care should be more than a rushed appointment and a prescription. Our approach is comprehensive, personalized, and centered on understanding the whole person. We take time to learn your medical history, current symptoms, medications, lifestyle, sleep, nutrition, mental health, hormonal and metabolic concerns, family history, risk factors, and—most importantly—what you want to improve about your health. Patients come to Onyx Health for both routine primary care and more complex concerns. We provide preventive care, annual and wellness visits, acute and sick visits, chronic disease management, medication management, laboratory evaluation, women's health, weight and metabolic care, and evaluation of concerns such as fatigue, changes in weight, hair loss, sleep problems, mood changes, and difficulty feeling like yourself. When appropriate, we coordinate laboratory testing, imaging, referrals, and specialty care. We also provide ongoing follow-up so that testing leads to a plan—not simply a set of results in a patient portal. Our goal is not to order every test or prescribe a medication for every symptom. It is to listen carefully, identify what deserves further evaluation, use evidence-based medicine to guide clinical decisions, and help you understand your options. Onyx Health offers both in-person and telehealth care, allowing many patients to maintain an ongoing relationship with the same primary care practice even when coming into the office is inconvenient. We welcome patients who need a new primary care provider, those managing established medical conditions, and those who have several concerns they would like to address in a more comprehensive way.
