It’s important to know what your insurance covers, and ask many questions when choosing options.
I was greeted by my name when I walked in. I presented my insurance card, and the receptionist explained the process. I was taken to the exam room and all went well.

My experience at Optika eyecare was amazing! I'm not one to take care of myself usually and Dr. P made sure to make me feel comfortable and feel taken care of, she answered all my questions and guided me through the process and explained everything thoroughly, Front office staff was super friendly and nice and welcoming which is amazing! New to the area, selected this provider based on reviews. Post appointment, I followed up with my insurance and found I was charged for services even though I have full coverage with VSP insurance. It was an arduous process to confirm with my insurance that my benefits were not used. When I followed up to discuss my benefits to the provider and ask why I was charged, I received condescending replies, to finally receive a refund in two amounts, many weeks later for the second. I was told I was incorrect and then refunded the amount my insurance stated I was owed. I would go elsewhere.

Everyone was super friendly and communicated everything clearly to me. They guided me through the process of getting my first glasses, making sure I was perfectly happy with the choice I made before making the purchase. They were also super up front and transparent about costs and what my insurance would/wouldn't cover so that the total was not a surprise like it sometimes can be!
