Optimize You is a performance and sports medicine clinic offering injury and sports rehabilitation and functional well being modalities. Our mission is to integrate technology, cutting edge treatments, and overall wellness to offer the greatest health approach to all facets of activity, from weekend warriors and laborious professions to professional athletes.
Optimize You was founded on the premise of finding a more effective way to pursue ones goals. We aim to not only rehabilitate injury and restore function, but to also avoid injury and maintain function. We are made up of athletes and medical professionals looking to integrate the two together.
We aim to offer achievable access to regenerative medicine at multiple levels to ensure that our patients are reaching their goals whatever those goals may be.

I went to him to get some answers on an injury that I’ve previously visit 2 hospitals and a urgent care facility over that didn’t cleary give me answers on my injury, an after explaining the situation with the doc he said we would get to the bottom of it and he did, so with that being said I definitely would recommend Carter Kerber.

I had a very disappointing experience with this doctor. I initially went to him for back pain, but the treatment he prescribed did not help at all. When I informed him, instead of adjusting the medication or providing better guidance, he simply asked me to take an X-ray. After the X-ray was done, there was no proper follow-up, no explanation of the results, and no further plan for treatment. I felt completely neglected and left without any clarity about my condition. A patient expects care, attention, and at least some effort to explain the diagnosis and provide options – none of that happened here. The medication given earlier was also ineffective, and when it failed, there was no accountability. Overall, I felt my time, money, and trust were wasted. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone seeking genuine treatment or proper communication. Patients deserve respect, empathy, and effective care – unfortunately, I did not receive that here.

I went for knee pain & this PA just went over a ton of nothing. It was based off up charging and stem cell talk. I really just wanted to grab a steroid shot for my knee. He told me insurance wouldn’t cover it that day (which was a lie.) He kept mentioning me needing to loose weight or doing IV fluids to overall feel better. None of which focused on my actual knee. I thought this was an orthopedic office which is why I went there. This is now an everyday med spa like a Scottsdale vibe. Won’t return.

It made me a lot more comfortable speaking with him about the addressing pain management and potential treatment plans. Visit was a lot shorter than I expected, and I made it to work on time! I'd been having knee issues for months and did research on where to go for help. I decided to go to "Optimize You Performance Medicine" to seek a solution. The provider, Carter Kerber PA, did a through evaluation of my medical history and my knee, explained in detail what the recommended treatment plan was and also did an in-office procedure that provided some immediate relief to the knee pain. I'm very impressed with the friendly, professional staff at their office as well as the level of knowledge and care of the provider. I highly recommend you try them!

They tried charging me for stuff I already paid for. Staff immediately saw I had already paid when I called to complain. Sketchy practice, because there’s a slim chance I would’ve gotten the money back if I just paid the bill they sent me.

Looked up the results I brought in and explained them he also looked up a previous MRI and totally explained it to me..
This MRI was done by another physician that I am not happy with.

There have been many positive review about Carter, so I feel it is simply not a match. Not everyone is an immediate match to a provider. I just felt that I was being "sold" a ton of options, and future "cures" that I had not even come in for. I came in for a shoulder so why are why discussing weight loss and hormones? I didn't feel confident that the immediate need was going to be addressed, it would be drawn out to get every dollar possible.
I have not experienced with other providers. Just not a match. Have decided to go elsewhere.

Highly recommend. Friendly and attentive staff made me feel welcome. And the doctor was very thorough and knowledgeable. He was a great listener, was able to pull up an old MRI and helped me identify that I more than likely re-injured a herniated disc that I incurred 7 years ago. Gave me a great treatment plan, options, suggestions and recommendations. You will not be disappointed and will be in good hands as it truly felt both his staff and himself really do care about your health and want to see you get better.

Thankful to Zocdoc. Dr Warner with Optimize Your Performance was awesome. I was over my head with frustration because of my knee pain. He took me in and assessed me, and even though he couldn't assure a diagnosis without a MRI, he had me confident that whatever it is I'll get through it with his help. He was quick to relieve the majority of my pain by doing an joint aspiration, right there in the office ( draining fluid from the knee). He was above and beyond what I expected!

I did not expect to get any relief on a first visit. That has been my experience at previous dr offices that are pain focused. But this dr and office listened to my issues, researched my imaging and actually gave me the trigger point injections, I requested, my 1st appointment. Referred me for massage that I was able to get covered by insurance for the 1st time in my long painful journey. I experienced compassionate care by this dr with no stigma on new types of treatments. Very impressed and very grateful!
