Osteopathic Family Medicine Of Northern NJ was created with our patients in mind. We've eliminated long waiting times to be seen by the doctor. Appointment time slots are generous, offering ample time to spend with the physician, and addressing any concerns that you have. Dr. DeFeo sits down with his patients and listens attentively so that he can tailor a specific treatment plan to every individual he sees. We offer a wide range of primary care services to our patients. Dr. DeFeo is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, and is experienced at treating most common medical conditions. He is able to provide a single location for his patients to receive care and avoiding multiple trips to different specialists. When the need to see a specialist does arise, for more complicated diagnoses, he can coordinate care to help streamline the process. In addition to primary care, Dr. DeFeo offers non-invasive pain relief through the the techniques of Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment. Known as OMT, OMM or OPP for short, these procedures emphasize physical manipulation of the body's muscle tissue and bones, offering relief from physical ailments and pain. Typically, OMT is offered as a stand-alone treatment, or can be combined with traditional medications and procedures to assist in therapy. Our practice also offers other services such as weight management, testosterone replacement therapy, and more. We accept Medicare and most major commercial plans. Never again. I understand this virus is effecting our community but if you have get the heebie jeebies over cooties you should close your practice. I was treated very rudely and aggressively. I stated I had a cough on the phone and explained I have bronchitis yet when I sat down to fill out the first time patient form and started coughing I was approached very aggressively and called a liar when I said I told on the phone I warned them I have a cough . Turned into an even worse time when in the examination room, as I’m trying to explain my self since I’ve never met this doctor before, I’m being told “ do you want my advice or are you going to keep talking over me “ like excuse me seriously ? I’m trying to get my point across I told him initially I deal with anxiety and he did not make me feel comfortable or at ease at all. Very rude very unprofessional I tried to visit this doctor because my whole life I just go to public clinics and wanted to avoid the wait times but I rather much sit down for 3 hours and see a GOOD quality doctor than ever go through the experience I had today again.

Krysten was super helpful and very personable. She was very detail oriented and made sure that I felt like all my needs were met. She was able to answer my questions about IV infusions (NAD+ VS Meyers Cocktail). I started the IV NAD+ infusions the same day! Super happy that I came to see her!
