OtherKind Health
OtherKind is a structured specialty therapy practice focused on anxiety, overthinking, burnout, and chronic stress. The practice is designed specifically for adults who are high-functioning on the outside and exhausted by the internal pressure anxiety creates — people who are managing professionally and personally, while privately dealing with persistent worry, perfectionism, emotional depletion, or a mind that won't slow down.
The people OtherKind works with are often capable, self-aware, and accustomed to solving problems. They may be delivering at work, maintaining relationships, and meeting responsibilities — while struggling with cycles of overwork and procrastination, difficulty resting, a constant sense of being behind, or anxiety that shows up as high standards and the need for control. Anxiety in high-functioning adults doesn't always look like anxiety. OtherKind is built around that specific presentation.
Treatment at OtherKind is active, structured, and evidence-based. The practice draws from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), skills-based work, and depth-oriented approaches — addressing both the present patterns that keep anxiety going and the deeper beliefs that shaped them. Sessions are goal-oriented and collaborative, with honest feedback and clear attention to how progress shows up week to week. Understanding is part of the work. So is change.
OtherKind works best with clients who want therapy that is psychologically rigorous and direct — people who are ready to reflect, practice between sessions, and engage honestly in the process. Many clients come after trying therapy that felt too unstructured or too surface-level. Others are new to therapy but know they want something focused. Either way, the work is taken seriously.
In addition to anxiety, OtherKind supports clients dealing with burnout, perfectionism, procrastination, emotional regulation, and relationship patterns that persist despite awareness. The practice also works with adults navigating significant transitions — career shifts, leadership demands, parenthood, or moments when old ways of coping stop working.
Sessions are weekly, conducted via secure video, and private pay. OtherKind is for people ready for therapy that is focused, structured, and grounded in real psychological work.

This doctor was very attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful. I’d recommend him to any of my friends.

Respectful and Honest and tells it like it is. Just like how it's supposed to be. And Cares for his patients.

This was a bad experience for me. I made this appointment at a valuable time for me. I left work early for these appointments. They sent me a link to create a login for some faceless company named Otherkind. 10 minutes before my appointment, when I tried to log into my virtual visit, I saw that my appointment was cancelled without any notification. I filled out a ton of forms on their platform as Zocdoc asked me for the same information. I tried to reach out via their messaging app with no response. I also left a voicemail with no response. This is definitely not a good start to any mental health relationship.

Dr. Will is a straight shooter he assesses who you are quickly and meets you at the level of engagement that is digestible. He mixed textbook and real life experience as a tool of engagement and gave ideas and thoughts to truly consider and think about until our next session.
