The first session was thorough regarding my medical history but not painfully exhaustive (which is frankly not necessary for a seasoned psych patient switching prescribers). The doctor was very reasonable and compassionate about working with me on medication management and has been responsive and helpful since our first appointment. If I could, I’d give him an extra star just for the the fact that he picks up the phone!

If you're looking for someone who actually wants to help you, this is not the doctor. He's very unprofessional, made sexist comments (verbatim, "You look too good to have all these issues!), not attentive to your needs, seems to care primarily about prescribing medicine, and I felt very rushed during our appointments. I'm already looking for a new doctor.

I have never been to a psychiatrist that has ever listened to me and not put me down or think incorrectly about me.. given me being 24 and him much older I felt there would be an age gap understanding issue but their wasn’t. He cared. He listened to everything for so long. I can’t thank you enough. I Never went back to any psych before, but now I will.

Dr. Told me i should take medication for anxiety when I told him i did not want to. He said OK we can do psychotherapy.
On the second appointment- he told me I should take some herbs and the appointment was about 10 mins.

Dr. Schneider was nice and a good listener, had quick availability and was ready to start treatment immediately however he appeared older than his photo and had some possible speech and motor issues which made it difficult to understand him at times. Office is in his home which was a bit uncomfortable for me.

The docs second visit was for 10 minutes. Then He left the country and I had no way to contact him or get a refill. Very unprofessional. My medication ran out and he didn't even have the decency to call back.
