Paige Sweet, PhD
My approach to therapy is rooted in its origins as a talking cure, which guides the way I listen to desires, conflicts, pains, or wishes that remain unspoken, partially known, or silently hidden. Together we will explore the rich details of your life to understand the dynamics that enliven your passions and contribute to your obstacles. Whatever leads you to seek out therapy—relationship issues, painful memories, difficult feelings, persistent stressors, or other difficulties—our work will guide you in building stronger relationships and more satisfying ways of being in the world.
I see people who are exploring questions related to gender sexuality, and many forms of relationships, as well as people who are experiencing difficulties related to trauma, depression, anxiety, anger, and other issues. I'm also conversant with the ways that race, racism, and other social-environmental factors related to power inequalities impact our lives and have the potential to affect the therapeutic relationship and am always willing to discuss these dynamics.

Dr. Paige is gentle in all the ways I needed her to be gentle and pushed me to look at hard stuff with a lot of compassion. I had questions about my identity and she made me feel seen and helped me understand my relationships
