Therapy is a safe and supportive space where your child can feel understood, empowered, and capable. I partner with children, teens, and caregivers to help them reach meaningful goals, navigate challenges, and build skills that last a lifetime. Together, we focus on what matters most—whether that’s managing big emotions, building confidence, handling life changes, or improving relationships. For younger children, goals might include expressing emotions in healthy ways, building routines, or connecting with others. For teens, we often focus on managing stress, building self-esteem, improving communication, or learning new coping tools. Caregivers play an essential role. We work as a team—your child, you, and I- to set goals that reflect your family’s values and your child’s unique strengths. And because kids grow and change, we check in regularly to adjust goals so they stay relevant and helpful. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s a flexible partnership. My role is to support your child’s growth and to support you in supporting them—through every step, every win, and every challenge.

My daughter and I have been working with Pamela since 2022. She’s not only knowledgeable, professional and amazing with problem solving but Pamela has treated us with dignity, integrity and compassion. When my child began working with Pamela at 4 years old, she scored low on receptive/expressive language, was explosive and exhibiting extreme self injurious behaviors, her tantrums were so extreme police were getting called on me. Tantrums would last an hour on average. I had to walk on eggshells everyday. Worst of all, I was on the verge of giving up on the medical system when it came to my daughter. Pamela’s care, creativity and work ethic truly changed our lives. Now my daughter talks, reads, can participate in activities with other children and has grown her emotional intelligence to amazing levels. We owe so much to Pamela. She’s not only a great provider, Pamela is easily one of the best you will find in Michigan.
