On his site he advertised that he accepts Blue Shield HMO) After waiting three weeks for my schedule appointment I get there and they tell me we’re sorry we don’t accept that carrier! Really frustrating !

Very disappointed the payment was the main concern and I was given a partial exam per Dr. Mutyala because of my insurance. Then the girl at the desk when I was leaving try to charge me almost 3 times the amount I was supposed to pay and I told her that was incorrect and she said well that’s just the way we do it and I said well I’m not gonna pay that so after disappearing for a while came out and said OK pay the 20% which was correct.

This was my first visit and I was pleased with my experience. The front office staff were friendly. The office is clearly following all of the CDC regulations. I waited about an hour before seeing the doctor. My first impression of the doctor was that he was welcoming and friendly. He listened to my concerns, followed by the examination and finally the diagnosis. Throughout the visit he displayed a calm and friendly demeanor. He instantly built a rapport with myself and my husband. I was able to secure an appointment on the same day which was very convenient. My follow up is in three weeks and I will definitely make him my primary ophthalmologist.
