Dr. Liu was extremely compassionate and caring. He listened very intently to what I was saying and asked really great questions to better understand everything. He was very professional and communicated and explained everything very clearly.

I've currently had one visit with Dr. Liu. He was easy to talk even when the topics we covered were difficult for me. He didn't make me feel judged or belittled and was empathetic. He called me right away after I booked an appointment with him on ZocDoc to see if we were a good fit and to find a time that works which I greatly appreciated because other doctors on ZocDoc either just cancelled the appointment on me or never showed which amplified my depression. He gives you several informed treatment options which you can take an active role in. I feel good about continuing my treatment with him and I'd recommend him to those searching for a good psychiatrist.

Speaking with Dr. Liu was a wonderful experience. He asked great questions that provoked clear, insightful answers from me. I spoke about myself during the first half, then Dr. Liu came in with his understanding and suggestions. While I wasn't forced to take his "diagnoses" as the final truth, he shared insightful perspectives about my experience I had never thought about before. He carefully shared with me what I could be experiencing based on my feedback and shared guidance what we could do for my next steps.
I'm thankful that I ended up working with Dr. Liu, and it's an experience I won't forget. If you're on the fence, this is your sign not to be!

My kids were under Dr. Liu's care for behavioral issues. We were having some family changes in addition to the concerns we have of our of children. Dr. Liu was very approachable and kind. He was really compassionate and candid at the same time. Sometimes I'd attend the meetings sometimes and my husband would. We both agree that Dr. Liu has been really helpful for all of us. Even though we as parents were not his patients, per se, we are really glad he saw us as a family.
