At the end of the consultation, the psychiatrist unexpectedly asked for an unreasonable copay. Surprised by the amount, I questioned the fee. He then abruptly reduced it to a much lower amount, which raised a red flag—such a drastic change made me question the legitimacy of the charge.
I declined to provide my credit card over the phone and asked for a bill instead, which he agreed to. Shortly after, he called multiple times, accusing me of being unprofessional and pressuring me to pay immediately.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend him and would advise others to be cautious.

The doctor went above and beyond to understand my mental health needs. He came up with a plan to tackle the condition. Very appreciative of him!

The first appointment was great, beside the fact of being charged an excessive amount said to be a Zocdoc fee. Second one was okay asked if meds were good and filled them.
The next appointment was "lost" called to check and said I will now have an appointment the next day. Well the time came and went and no call.
Today no answer and no availability on here when there were several early this morning. I am now scrambling to make sure I have my medicine.

Just didn’t feel right, appointment was over the phone, felt impersonal, communication was sometimes unclear (maybe due to the phone?)
I’m sure Parviz is an expert, but maybe not what I was looking for.

I had a phone consultation with Dr. Parviz. He had a lot of patience listening to my case and clarified all my doubts about adjusting the medications. I didn't have to wait for him as he was ready for our consultation. His attention was good, and he made me feel at ease with the steps to follow in the treatment.
