Path 2 Growth Counseling

Dr. Toussaint started Path2Growth Counseling Services because of the social injustices she witnessed while working as a school psychologist and culturally insensitive practices at mental health clinics. She believes that students, children, parents and adults deserve better especially from diverse, immigrant communities. Her passion is to ensure that every member of the community is treated with respect, compassion, and dignity from the moment they walk into treatment to the moment they leave. You are not a number, dollar sign, or diagnosis to Dr. Toussaint or her team. Path2Growth was founded and created as an ongoing collaboration between the client and therapist. To this day, serving as the Director of Trauma Treatment & Training, Dr. Toussaint continues her work by providing clients with individualized trauma-informed treatment and care, speaking at workshops to educate therapists and other professionals to be more trauma-sensitive and their approaches, and collaborating with the community to reach more people who want to break their generational cycles. We accept Aetna, United Healthcare, Oxford, Optum, and Oscar insurance. We also accept self or private pay clients.
