Patricia Roebuck

My name is Pat Roebuck I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I've been in the counseling profession for over 20 years. I've worked with a variety of people from young adults to the elderly facing a variety challenges. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, negative thinking, forgetfulness, trauma, low self-worth, or setting boundaries. I am here to tell you, you're not alone. My approach to therapy is holistic, utilizing a variety of techniques tailored to meet your specific needs. Cognitive behavior therapy, Person centered, Talk Therapy and Solution focused therapy. I enjoy working with individuals from ages 20 through 90 facing a wide variety of life stressors. Helping individuals uncover their highest potential by helping the person to develop skills, change negative thought patterns, negative behaviors to setting boundaries. I can help you to identify and reduce those nagging negative thoughts. Sometimes our thoughts and feelings can get buried under a mountain of clutter and need to be brought to the surface before we can recognize the impact it has had on your everyday life. In the first session, we will get to know each other and go over expectations of the therapeutic process. We'll start with a brief introduction, then dive into the specific challenges and develop a plan for us to work through during the follow-up sessions. My strengths include active listening, open communication, acceptance, being nonjudgemental, observant, and encouraging and motivating others, in an open trusting therapeutic relationship. I want you to feel respected and validated and encouraged and have a clear understanding of how setting therapy goals will provide structure and direction in keeping the sessions focused, ultimately leading to one’s personal growth.
