Peachtree Medical Center
Peachtree Medical Center is a primary care facility providing high-quality healthcare for adults since 1985. Patients range in age from 18 to 100 plus and come to PMC for a broad range of medical conditions. PMC consists of physicians board-certified in internal medicine and family practice, nurse practitioners, and medical assistants. PMC sees patients from a variety of social and economic backgrounds. All types of insurance are accepted by PMC physicians including Medicaid, and Medicare. PMC prides itself on providing quality care to all of its patients, regardless of insurance status. Although the attending physicians at PMC specialize in primary care/internal medicine, several physicians have additional expertise in Preventive Health, Women’s Health, Hypertension, Geriatrics, Pharmacology, Osteoporosis, and Diabetes. All staff and physicians place a strong emphasis on educating patients about wellness and disease prevention.
Our mission is to offer each patient the highest level of thorough, personalized care. To help us achieve this goal, we use a state-of-the-art electronic medical record system that allows for ease in communication with families, specialists, and pharmacies. We also stress continuity of care by providing a medical home where your health can be focused on and optimized.

Dr. Rappe takes his time to fully understand what I am trying to communicate. He responds to my questions before moving on to the next topic. He asks questions that make sense. I never feel rushed or that I still have unanswered questions when I leave his office.
As much as I dislike doctor visits, Dr. Rappe makes the whole process much easier.

The staff was super friendly, and everyone had a very pleasant bedside manner. My nurse was really sweet. Dr. Rappe listened and asked a lot of questions which I appreciate. The nurse that took my blood with Quest Diagnostics that sit right in the office was also very friendly and gentle.

My first office visit was amazing! The check in process was smooth. However, when I was called to the back, my provider was waiting for me as I entered the room. Omg!!! That was awesome!!! She answered ever question and even gave me solutions to my questions…. 10/10 highly recommend.

This was my initial visit with this doctor (Syeda Khan) as well as the facility (Peachtree Medical Center).
I arrived at 10:34 AM. (I was advised to arrive for my 11 AM appointment by 10:45 AM). I was called back at 11:22 AM. Not a long wait at all. The staff was very accommodating.
The doctor was very attentive, kind, thorough and seemed very genuine in her concern for my care. She was really listening to me. I know this because at the end of the appointment, I was provided with 3 referrals for issues I mentioned that she is interested in further addressing and she told me when she would like to see me back. My last doctor just pushed care appointment dates out longer than seemed normal and I never understood why. It’s been awhile since I’ve had a doctor that didn’t make me feel like seeing me was just part of the daily routine. I was very pleased with my first visit to this doctor and to this location.

Dr. Khan is a true gem — both as a physician and as a person. She is knowledgeable, caring, and genuinely personable. I can be a tough patient at times, as I get frustrated with the “industry” side of healthcare and the endless checklists of questions that often feel redundant or irrelevant to my visit. Primary care is a demanding field, yet Dr. Khan does her absolute best to keep it human and help solve concerns. I deeply respect and appreciate her. Consistent, personal care is rare, and with Dr. Khan it sometimes feels as though she’s carrying that responsibility all on her own.

A great deal of miscommunication. I booked the appointment with Dr Khan because on Zocdoc it said that she specialized in one capacity. I even called the office before my appointment to confirm she could do as I needed and was reassured that she did. Guess what she doesn't and it was a complete waste of time unfortunately.
