Peculiar Wellness Center
I am a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner licensed in Texas with decades of experience helping patients navigate a wide range of mental health conditions. I provide personalized care combining therapy, medication management, and advanced treatments like Spravato® (esketamine) for patients with treatment-resistant depression who have not responded to one or two antidepressants.
Important Booking Notice: Appointments for services NOT offered may incur a fee. Patients are responsible for selecting the correct service and responding to outreach. I currently do NOT prescribe stimulants for ADHD management.
My approach is collaborative and patient-centered. I partner with each patient to create treatment plans that are compassionate, evidence-based, and tailored to their unique needs. I’m passionate about helping individuals overcome barriers, build resilience, and regain control over their mental and emotional well-being.
I specialize in supporting patients with treatment-resistant depression, depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, substance use, and hormonal changes affecting mental health. My care is trauma-informed, non-judgmental, and focused on the whole person, guided by harm-reduction principles.
With experience across outpatient and acute care settings, including adolescent, adult, geriatric, and hormonal health units, I bring a deep understanding of complex psychiatric and dual-diagnosis conditions. My goal is always to provide compassionate, empowering care that helps patients achieve lasting improvement and greater mastery over their mental health.

2. Fast & Flexible Access
Life moves fast—mental health care should too. I offer next-day and sometimes same-day appointments through secure telehealth, so you can get the support you need wherever you are in Texas.
3. Expertise in Spravato® & Neurodiversity
For those struggling with depression that hasn’t responded to other treatments, we offer Spravato® (esketamine) assessments to see if this FDA-approved option may help. I also provide tailored, compassionate care for PTSD, anxiety, trauma, and neurodivergent individuals.
4. Licensed Documentation for Accommodations
If needed, I can provide documentation for work, school, or other accommodations to support your mental health journey across all areas of life.
5. Whole-Person, Integrative Approach
Mental health care is more than symptom management. Together, we use therapy, mindfulness, practical routines, and cognitive tools to build resilience, balance, and overall well-being.
6. Ongoing Support & Practical Resources
Between sessions, I provide digital resources, educational tools, and self-guided strategies to help you stay empowered, organized, and confident in your progress.
What to Expect When Working With Me
At Peculiar Wellness, I make mental health care clear, supportive, and personalized. I work with patients experiencing treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, and hormonal wellness concerns.
Your First Visit
We’ll start with a focused evaluation to understand your history, symptoms, daily challenges, and goals. We review mood, attention, sleep, stress, and prior treatments to guide a personalized treatment plan. This may include therapy, medication management, or advanced options like Spravato® (esketamine).
Ongoing care therapy
Therapy may involve mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and practical coping strategies. Between visits, you’ll get tools, resources, and check-ins to help you feel supported and empowered. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and non-judgmental, focused on building resilience and improving overall well-being.
Insurance & Payments
Initial Evaluation (40–50 min): $175
Medication Management (15–25 min): $150
We accept many insurance plans—please contact us to confirm coverage. Payments are charged to your card on file after insurance processes, typically 2–4 weeks later. Receipts are provided, and payment plans are available if needed.
Payment Processing
Balance payments are charged to your card on file after each session, typically 2–4 weeks after your visit, once the insurance claim has been processed. Receipts are provided at the time of payment.
We accept credit/debit cards and secure online payments through our patient portal.

Was just immediately trying to put me on medication when I came in and openly said I wanted to explore figuring out the root cause of my hormone issues, not just slap on birth control to “fix” the issue. Booking an appointment for women’s wellness at a facility called “Peculiar” Wellness Center made me feel a bit skeptical at first, but I quickly learned “Peculiar” simply means unique and different with exceptional service. Anthonia provides both gynecological services as well as specializing in athletics, so we were able to talk about my weight, skincare, and even my mental health while I was there for my annual Pap smear. She showed care and concern, listened to all my questions and said she wanted to see me back in 4 weeks to assess the new anti-depressants she prescribed.
