Optomologist seen was Dismissive and aggressive. Did not see the provider listed on Zocdoc. Optomologist seen was younger and inexperienced.
After getting exam I was shown a few glasses. Older Indian women showed me a few then was upset I selected the ones provided by my insurance as if she would have gotten a commission for encouraging me to buy over priced designer glasses. Tons of hidden fees. I would not recommend

My experience at the office didn't feel great. I realized as soon as I got to the office that I had been there before about 8 years ago and didn't like it then. It seems like much hasn't changed. The staff wasn't very welcoming or warm. The doctor didn't have good bedside manners (this is coming from a nurse) and seemed to be getting frustrated while I was getting fitted for contacts. It's unfortunate but I'm also glad to give it another shot to know this isn't the office for me.

Doctor must be overworked. Didn't read my paperwork citing my medical history. No heads up before he starts a procedure. I doubt the seat was clean or area wiped down, just one in one out like cattle. The procedure results were reliant on a normal breathing pattern but the machine was placed for his comfort not mine and I was leaning way out of my seat with nasal congestion so I can't trust the results. After my exam he didn't notify the staff that I needed a prescription and follow up appt. I left without the prescription. I also went to pick glasses and none of the frames that my insurance covered fit my face. The young man with the ponytail didn't even take the time to show me what could fit me from maybe the next price point up before he starts telling me my lenses will cost over a grand & I can pay in installments. No customer service or real patient care or patience. I won't be returning.

Dr. Is good BUT the office does not honor appointment times and I was there for close to an hour and a half. People walked off the street with”emergency” and no one tells you that they were going to be placed in front of
You. Understand that there may have been challenges but there was no communication and when I expressed how displeased I was- it was dismissed by one of the doctor’s staff members. Also when I called to confirm appointment the young lady on the phone had no clue about it and had me give her the same information from Zocdoc . Also the fillable forms on Zocdoc were not used. In times of COVID- they need to clean rooms after patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lisitsyn for a few years now. I like how he shares my course of treatment with me.
HOWEVER, somewhere, somehow, the 'front' of the house was unaware of my appointment and placed my file in the 'walk-in' pile causing me to wait more than 2 hours to be seen. I cannot recommend making an appointment via ZOCDOC, again.

I was put off by the delay in general greetings from the staff upfront. They seemed to only greet the people they knew. They weren't warm of attentive for the first 30 minutes. Over time, once paperwork commenced, they were more friendly and perhaps apologetic. My doctor was kind and very direct with help and support. One concern I have is one woman that assists with purchasing glasses and contacts. I mentioned to her I like to take time and understand costs. When she spoke about my purchasing, she reached and added numbers without a clear explanation of where those numbers came from. I'm naturally uneasy because I like to know where my money goes. Overall, their goal is to retain clientele. Yet, I think there's room for improvement with sales delivery and general/initial greeting.

Dr. Oleg Lisitsyn is amazing, very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained everything thoroughly. The wait time was less than five minutes from the time I walked in the door including check in (which is a huge plus!). The office itself offers state of the art technology to better diagnose optical conditions. The technology they use in this office is incredible. I have never experienced such superb customer service and eye care. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I more than highly recommend this practice. Awesome experience overall!

Don't bother filling out the ZocDoc intake forms because this office will still require you to complete their own forms. I was brought in by a tech for a series of eye tests about 30 minutes after my appt time and then I saw Dr. Lisitsyn a little over half an hour after those tests. My eyes were dilated at the end of the doc's initial exam and about twenty minutes later I was given a field of vision test by the tech - and I could barely see the flashing lights. When I asked if the dilation was the reason that I was struggling with the FOV test I was told that it had nothing to do with it. When I saw the doc for the dilated exam he commented on my FOV test and said that I should have been wearing my glasses when it was administered. Anyway, Dr. Lisitsyn was very nice, friendly, and thorough (except for the FOV thing, which was just weird). The office staff were lovely even after my grouchy side emerged when I had to fill out their forms. I was impressed that there were bilingual staff who also spoke Spanish and (I think) Russian; very cool. I also ordered new glasses, which I was told will take 2-3 weeks to come in because of some snow that's expected here tomorrow and next week; usually it takes 7-10 biz days. Seems like quite a long wait to me. So that was my experience in a nutshell. You can decide whether or not to go - and if you do then set aside extra time because you'll probably be there a while.

Prior to my appointment the receptionist called to remind me of my appointment. That was a nice gesture. I went to see Dr. Lisitsyn because my glasses broke and I was experiencing discomfort to bright lights. He checked my eyes and made me feel confident with his evaluation. Gave me some recommendations for my new pair of glasses and gave me some discounts on my glasses. I could not be anymore pleased with doctor. He was polite, understandable and patient. I recommend him to anyone.

They completely overbooked appointments; I waited a ridiculous amount of time even though I was early, had all my paperwork filled out beforehand, etc. Bed-side manner was horrible. When I described an issue I was experiencing, he said "that makes no sense". Well...that is not productive. They performed a test prior on me PRIOR to seeing the doctor that required medical insurance (learned at check-out) because it was out of the scope of eye insurance for a regular exam even though I did not ask for it and was very clear that I only wanted a routine eye exam to order contacts.

The office was over-crowded and noisy and they were obviously overbooked, as I sat for more than an hour after my appointment time before I was seen by an assistant, who administered several tests. Then I waited another 15 minutes before I was finally seen by the doctor. He was capable and exact with his diagnosis.
