Peter Keith

Hi! My name is Peter. I specialize in trauma, PTSD, and dissociation, though I also treat a wide range of other issues. I have experience working with all types of emotional wounds. I will meet you wherever you are in your healing journey- whether you are coming to therapy for the first time, or are looking to find a new provider for whatever reason. I believe that there are always things taking place under the surface. These 'core wounds' impact us to this day, even if what happened occurred many years ago. Together, we can explore what might be going on under the surface for you, and figure out the way forward that will lead to lasting change. I utilize Eye-movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) combined with ego-states-based interventions to help facilitate the healing process. I am certified in EMDR and a member of EMDRIA (EMDR International Association). These modalities are evidence based and powerful frameworks that have been shown to help bring about change.
