Philly City Foot Doc
Dr. Kimberly Nguyen is a board certified podiatrist who is highly trained in all aspects of foot and ankle. We are located at 13th and South Street and taking COVID precautions to be able to perform in person visits. We also offer telehealth visits for the convenience and safety of our patients. We are happy to see any and all foot and ankle conditions. We attempt all conservative treatment options before considering surgical options. We have many different modalities and treatment options to help treat all sorts of foot and ankle conditions.

I think the doctor and all the staff were very nice, but two things really stood out. 1) the office itself is not very clean. There was grime on a lot of stuff, and the building itself is very dark and dingy.
And I would’ve been fine with that if it didn’t feel like 2) everyone was constantly trying to sell me stuff. I understand a lot of medical offices unfortunately need the funds from selling extra things to keep the lights on, but it was excessive. My feet were a little dry and they were really pushing this very expensive tiny bottle of lotion. We talked about getting inserts, and they wanted to charge me almost twice what I paid for the exact same pair off Amazon. I feel bad, because they were very, very nice, but I feel like I can’t trust their recommendations because everything felt SO motivated by a sales pitch.

I'm glad I decided to visit Philly City Foot Dr. Everyone was kind, helpful, and attentive. I didn't feel that rushed feeling I had with too many other doctors. I did share my experience with friends and coworkers. I will be going back.

Was not sure what to expect but the entire staff was great. Very attentive to you and what was being said. When the Doctor and her assistant came into the room were full of energy and information. An enjoyable visit to a Doctors office.

Two things stood out - the length of a pre appointment health survey that HAD to be completed was one. This contrasted with the lovely and engaging interaction with the doctor and her assistant who were generous with their time and demonstrated genuine interest in my health challenge. It was lovely after an initially frustrating introduction.

I felt Dr Nguyen was knowledgeable and professional. She listened to my chief complaints and got right down to business on how we could remedy my situation. Her office staff was helpful and patient. They answered all of my questions and even emailed me follow up, post appointment instructions. Even though it was only my first visit, I left the office with less discomfort than I walked in with. I know my treatment plan will be a process but I am confident that this will be a good investment of my time and money to have healthy feet again.

Oddly, this medical practice doesn’t have an Xray machine onsite, thus I was informed that doctor couldn’t make a prognosis until I went out and got an Xray … a piece of information that I wished was shared “before” my appointment. And even without an x-ray, it seemed the doctor could have at least examined the foot … pressing parts to identify pain points; having patient turn foot in different directions; none of these steps were taken … doctor practically didn’t even touch the foot. Along with the appointment being a total waste of time, I was disappointed that everyone wore a mask … even in the private room where it was just me and the alleged doctor; I say alleged because I couldn’t see face. Plus, oddly the nurse is also the cleaner … as she was vacuuming the hallway as patients were waiting; the office didn’t seem clean. I went to another podiatrist the following day, and the experience was wonderful … night/day difference.

This was one of the best doctor appointments I’ve had in a long time, not only was every single person in that office friendly and knowledgeable which is enough to say they are above the rest but the doctor was also friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and they didn’t force products on me, even though they have a bunch of stuff in the office, I learned a lot and left feeling like I am in great hands. Highly recommend going to a podiatrist and especially this one!

I can’t recommend Dr. Nguyen enough! Her office staff was super friendly and helpful, making me feel immediately comfortable (which is rare for someone like me who gets nervous when visiting new doctors). I felt content with all of the answers to my questions and felt comfortable following the doctor’s directions after my visit. I will definitely be returning to The Philly City Foot Doc.
