Dr. Chinedum Olisemeka, a board-certified emergency medicine physician, opened Physicians Now to address the problem of overcrowded emergency rooms and a lack of access to medical care. Emergency room crowding increases healthcare costs and leads to longer wait times for everyone. Without access to regular medical care, minor injuries and illnesses can lead to serious complications. Physicians Now has been providing high-quality medical care since 2009.

Office was fine, a bit dingy. The staff was good. Doctors knowledgeable. My only complaint is that my nose swab for Covid made me tear up like a fountain and I had residual pain in my nasal cavity from the swab. Pretty sure that’s not normal, but overall the visit was fine.

Other than the fact that the Dr.’s office wasn’t aware that it was a virtual appointment - Zocdoc failed to mention that - everything went really well. I would highly recommend that others use this service and these Doctors. She was very professional and efficient. Walmart Pharmacy notified me surprisingly quickly by text msg that my prescriptions had been called in & were ready for pick up.

Little confusion again - my appointment was booked as an "in office" visit instead of a virtual appointment but it was quickly taken care of after I called the office. I waited about 30 minutes before my appointment took place and then was on my way with the rest of my day.

They still charged me for an office visit and an IV drop even though I reached my out of pocket max with my health insurance. So with the place being within network and my out of pocket max reached it should have been free and not asked to be billed numerous times throughout the appointment. Not much was done for the problem other than the IV and it seemed like the charged for blood tests even though blood was not taken.

Zocdoc mistakenly listed the facility as a primary care center when it's actually an urgent care clinic. This misinformation can mislead patients. Furthermore, the scheduled doctor was unavailable, and another doctor attended instead, which is not satisfactory. The billing discrepancy, where they charged according to urgent care rates instead of the copay mentioned, is also unacceptable. It's essential for them to ensure accuracy and provide quality service to patients...

I booked through zocdoc looking for skincare help. I was seen 45 min after my appointment time only to be told that they don’t provide that service and were not sure why they continue to get referrals from zocdoc for that. She did write me a prescription that was over $1k, the pharmacy tried to contact her for an alternative but they did not hear back.

Just overall cleanliness I’d like to see improved. Clearer, more detailed explanations help especially since I was exhausted today with back to back appointments. My anxiety was heavily triggered. I appreciated the partial explanation and reminder the selected PA mentioned about chest x-ray risks. Rescheduled elsewhere for my screening at a later date.
